Moved old posts from Typepad

I moved all of my old posts from Type Pad
They are all below. Would have loved to have a upload function but I got most of them loaded just fine.

I am looking for a tool like w.bloger to help publish. but I am not able to get the connection right.
Anybody know how I set this up?

Michael

New Site is up and away!

I signed up last week at Blogs About Hosting and then at E. Webscapes for a design that I like allot. Need to change the aircraft to marine AC and not Airforce f-16s.
Now I have to export my old posts and upload them to WordPress. Lots of stuff to learn now.

Raise the Bar!
Referring to Kevin Sites Blog in yesterdays post and also listening to talk radio about the great game of Basketbrawl, I noted many people were trying to lay blame on something or someone as a way to put this issue in the past. What most people were missing is that if the sports industry is to survive they need to raise the bar.

To me this means that the NBA should punish the players that broke the law and remove them from the sport, permanently! They should not lower the bar of acceptable actions for these players. The Fans should demand that the NBA RAISE the bar on what it expects from the players also.

Also, The NBA should also raise the bar on what is acceptable behavior from the fans in the seats. The Teams should aggressively pursue the fans that were involved in this and prosecute them to the full extent of the law. They should also 86 these people in order to provide a safe place for the rest of the fans and the players.

This leads me to the Marine in the news. The Marine Corps will appoint someone that is familiar (been there, done that) with the situation and hold the Marine to a high standard that has always been demanded of Marines. It is not justified for any of us currently in the states to make a judgment based on what we see and hear in the news or on the internet.
These are extraordinary men in a hard place to live and with a purpose of closing with and destroying the enemy. They are there to do a job and that is not a easy job. There job does not allow them to second guess there actions. Actions are always beter than second guessing.

"Well he’s dead now," says another Marine in the background.

About me

I am a Marine, Cowboy, Pilot, Geek, and Athlete.

So 10 things about me:

I am a former Marine Sgt 85- 93, 7234, 7236 :Tactical Air Defense Controller
I am a commercial pilot, single engine & multiple engine with instrument rating
I have participated in several rodeos when I was young and stupid
I have a degree in Aerospace and Computer Science from a public college in Denver
I am a tri-athlete and a marathoner
I live in Chandler Arizona now (but it is a dry heat!)
I work in the technology outsourcing. Outsourcing to America really does happen
I believe that everyone should put a stake in the ground on their beliefs
I am pro life, and I am also anti death penalty (rocking breaking is a good option)
I am a Republican because they match closer to my beliefs. They are not 100%

What are the three most dangerous things in the Marine Corps?
1) Second Lieutenant with a compass,
2) Private First Class with a badge,
3) Sergeant with an Attitude.
Oh, how I miss the Corps.

Kevin came back out

Well Kevin Sites came out and posted an open letter to the Marines of 3 1. I have to give it to him. He makes a logical point of the facts. and a good play on the Moral High Ground. with this interview:

"We’re the good guys. We are Americans. We are fighting a gentleman’s war here — because we don’t behead people, we don’t come down to the same level of the people we’re combating. That’s a very difficult thing for a young 18-year-old Marine who’s been trained to locate, close with and destroy the enemy with fire and close combat. That’s a very difficult thing for a 42-year-old lieutenant colonel with 23 years experience in the service who was trained to do the same thing once upon a time, and who now has a thousand-plus men to lead, guide, coach, mentor — and ensure we remain the good guys and keep the moral high ground."

Link: Kevin Sites Blog.

It’s time you to have the facts from me, in my own words, about what I saw — without imposing on that Marine — guilt or innocence or anything in between.

When it is all said and done, the Marine Corps and America as a whole will review and make judgment on the actions of the Marine. I think that they will be fair and honest with the actions and do what is best for America.

We hold our selves to a higher standard and that is why we are better then the islamofacist.

I have tons of respect for all of the men and women in service to our nation. They are the best in the world and we are lucky to have them fighting for us.

The Green Side

Dave’s latest letter from Iraq to his dad.
Like Dave is humbled to walk amongst such men in Iraq, I am humbled to be an American with the Great Americans like Lt. Col. D.G. BELLON, USMC and all of the men soldiers and Marines in Iraq.

Semper Fi, and God Speed.

It is incredibly humbling to walk among such men. They fought as hard as any Marines in history and deserve to be remembered as such.

I just could not not Comment on the facts the Diplomad makes. After being called a Nazis by someone that was my best friend and also happens to be a leftist bigot. Well the Diplomad describes the truth very well.

Lefties should be proud of all their heroes: Lenin, Trotsky, Stalin, Hitler, Goebbels, Mussolini, and Castro are all the godfathers of the left. Embrace them! Acknowledge your pedigree! We’ll stick with Madison, Jefferson, and Washington.

AcademicBias.com

WOW go to this site and look unde the video page.
this is who is producing the so called Journalist of America.

Regrettably, the academic environment at most of our universities is dominated by political correctness, a view of the world that is invariably anti-free market, suspicious of the United States, and reflexively intolerant of opposing views.
