I am a Marine, Cowboy, Pilot, Geek, and Athlete.
So 10 things about me:
I am a former Marine Sgt 85- 93, 7234, 7236 :Tactical Air Defense Controller
I am a commercial pilot, single engine & multiple engine with instrument rating
I have participated in several rodeos when I was young and stupid
I have a degree in Aerospace and Computer Science from a public college in Denver
I am a tri-athlete and a marathoner
I live in Chandler Arizona now (but it is a dry heat!)
I work in the technology outsourcing. Outsourcing to America really does happen
I believe that everyone should put a stake in the ground on their beliefs
I am pro life, and I am also anti death penalty (rocking breaking is a good option)
I am a Republican because they match closer to my beliefs. They are not 100%
What are the three most dangerous things in the Marine Corps?
1) Second Lieutenant with a compass,
2) Private First Class with a badge,
3) Sergeant with an Attitude.
Oh, how I miss the Corps.

I miss the Corps too. Officers are very necessary to successful operations. Quality Sergeants are even more necessary. I would pay Sergeants and above (in the enlisted side) very much more than they receive now. I would have less of them. I would make if very tough to become a Sergeant. Once they had the stripes, I would give them even more rein. We have, I suspect, too many officers. Too much supervision is a killer of initiative and demeans the NCOs in the eyes of their subordinates. Well, typical of me, I am going on too long.
