Beldar Rants on the defeat of the left again

Beldar has another rant about the leftest and other quackery of why they lost.
The Mr. Menand does not belive that they lost for cause. Kerry got more votes than Gore did in 2000. Yea Kerry!
To which Beldar says: “Piffle and balderdash.” Or in the unabridged West Texas translation, “Ain’t none o’ yew boys got the sense to pee yer pants iff’n yer leg’s on fire.”
And then he brings out a view of the future that the Dims do not see.
But I suspect that the Dems’ classic failure to recognize their fatal errors is a pattern that indeed might be permanent
This brings me back to the NYT aarticle Among the Inept, Researchers Discover, Ignorance Is Bliss.
