Good news for War on Terror

Arthur has all of the good news today

A few days ago, hundreds of Afghan leaders and some 150 foreign dignitaries, including the Vice-President Dick Cheney and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, got to witness a historic event; the swearing in of Afghanistan’s first democratically elected president, Hamid Karzai:

“Wearing a black lambskin hat and traditional striped silk coat over his shoulders, Mr. Karzai took his oath before the aging former king, Zaher Shah. The president himself then swore in his two vice presidents, Ahmed Zia Massoud and Mohammed Karim Khalili, who represent the two largest ethnic minorities, the Tajiks and the Shia Hazaras, after Karzai’s own ethnic group, the Pashtuns.”

Rockettes in Denver

The Radio City Christmas Spectacular had all of the fan fair that I would think would mean it would not be a very well presented play. I took my seats being very skeptical about this being a really good Christmas play with my family. While I still think that any play with my family is not a good thing. You can go with them next time. That would be a good thing.

Direct from New York’s Radio City Music Hall - the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the world famous Rockettes, will make the holidays especially merry with its Denver debut!

The lights dimmed and the show started. The cast cam out singing and dancing in what I can only explain as outstanding. The cast sang and played to the script and they were all very good. My grandma who I was sitting by kept commenting on how beautiful it was. The stage hands made great sets.

After the break the cast came back out and danced in heavy costumes and moved with more fluid motion than I could with lots of help. The final set was the Nativity scene. This really turned out to be a great site with three camels, sheep, and a ass.
The songs they sung were beautiful and very moving.

The Radio City Christmas Spectacular is one of the best Christmas plays I have seen in Denver in a long time.
Did I mention that they all have very nice legs and they love to kick them high in the air.
