Billionaire Anschutz Launching D.C. Tabloid

Got to love the challenge to the Liberal Leftist Socialist Anti-American press.

Mr. Anschutz is a Colorado Conservative

It looks as if billionaire Philip Anschutz wasn’t kidding when his Clarity Media Group Inc. announced plans to take the name “Examiner” national - a Clarity subsidiary says it’s launching a tabloid Examiner in Washington, D.C.

Look out MSM. not only are bloggers taking you out at the knees but so is others with more resources.

Navy Sailor Charged As “Deserter and Fugitive” After Refusing Iraq Deployment

Democracy Now supports this idiot for mission ship movment that is now in support of victoms of Tsumi

PABLO PAREDES: That’s correct. Well, first thing I want to say is that when I joined the military I didn’t have any — I was quite young. I think it’s crazy that we join at 18. Nobody is ready to make that decision at 18. I joined at 17. We are not ready. We don’t know what the world is about. We think we do, but we do not. So I didn’t know anything about politics, about the world. I didn’t care. I was a young kid. I wanted to play basketball and go out and have fun and get drunk and do crazy things. And the next thing you know, it was on a whim. It was absolutely on a whim. I woke up one day and said I don’t have many choices and this military guy keeps calling me. You know I’m going. Let’s go. So I say I will leave this week and I just went, and it was a rash decision, six years of my life I signed away and little by little I discovered what kind of person I was. I started studying, I started reading up on politics, on society and what’s going on in the world. Being sent to Japan was huge because it took me out of the box. We all live in this sheltered kind of place where we don’t understand what occurs in that world and we don’t understand what occurs outside of it. We don’t understand other kinds of thinking and other kinds of approaches and points of view. But once I was shipped out and I just totally had to look in on that world instead of being inside of it, it gave me a new perspective and I realized what kind of person I really was. And I realized that war not something I’m about. I realize that the military is something I’m completely against, especially the way this country uses it, at least throughout history, I meant. I see nothing but a system of muscle for an ideology that is not necessarily promoting peace or promoting positive things in all of history.

HOW ABOUT Democracy Now NOW?
Good thing Pablo is so helpful to the people in need now…..now…now….NOW

Loser!

Beer for our troops

Living in Colorado I am pretty close to Fort Carson (60 miles) and think that we should get a group together to buy some (lots) of beer and deliver to the troops when they get back to Colorado and before they go back to Montana.
Casey still needs to get approval but this might help his CO if we just show up with Ice Cold Beer, how could he say no?

Public welcome to see 639th off

Montana guardsman of the 639th Quartermaster Company ship out of Kalispell for their deployment station in two groups today and Wednesday.
Capt. Orlin Strom, commander of the 639th, said a group of 75 soldiers will leave at 8 p.m. today from the Montana National Guard/Reserve Armory on U.S. 93 South. They depart by bus for Missoula, where they will take a flight to Fort Carson, Colo.
A second group of about 43 is scheduled to leave at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday from Glacier Park International Airport.
Strom said family and friends are welcome to help send off the troops at either location. He invited the public to come to the armory beginning at 6:30 p.m. to support the troops leaving by bus for Missoula.
Experts in fuel and water supply and equipment maintenance, the 639th Quartermaster Company will perform a variety of supply missions for up to 18,000 soldiers as part of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
The unit goes first for training in Fort Carson before shipping out to Kuwait, and could serve a year or longer in the Middle East.

Well near the end of Feb it will be one year. I am wondering how many additional people are intrested in supporting us by buying these men a beer when they get back?
Want to join?
I have Rachelle, Koolaid, & Georgette
Anyone else? step right up? What can you do to help wlecome these guys home?
