I just watched “Gung Ho!”, a film from 1943 about Carlson’s Raiders. It’s jingoistic. It’s cheesy. It’s absolutely the worst of WWII war-time Hollywood.

A review of a Marine movie? Try going to a Marine movie with nothing but Marines!!!! You’re lucky if you get the plot everyone is so into critiquing everything Hollywood did with the uniforms, the lingo, and anything and everything the Marine characters do, say and shit! Hah! Talk about a blast!
