Just ask Maj Pete Mucciarone if the up armored M1114 was worth it or if it slowed down the HMMWV to much. The Kevlar Blankets are placed (with much care) under the seats, of the vehicles they are riding/driving in. this is also true in helicopters, and other aircraft.
Please support your troops, Soldiers’ Angels is a good way to provide support.
