N. Korea, Without the Rancor- Political Manipulation

When would a businessman say

“Call me Mr. Anonymous”

when his job is to

Maybe when Mr. Anonymous is talking to a real honest to goodness main stream meida reporter with real credentials none the less…..

So, in an effort to clear up misunderstandings, he expounded on the North Korean view of the world in an informal conversation that began one night this week over beer as North Korean waitresses sang Celine Dion in the karaoke restaurant, and resumed the next day over coffee.

Now this is really important…

The North Korean, dressed in a cranberry-colored flannel shirt and corduroy trousers,

But this was not important in a communist country. I call bull shit!!!

described himself as a businessman with close ties to the government. He said he did not want to be quoted by name because his perspective was personal, not official.

Unless the government wants them Mr. Anonymous to talk…

Because North Koreans seldom talk to U.S. media organizations, his comments offered rare insight into the view from the other side of the geopolitical divide.

By lieing about the compliance with the treaty that NK agreed to…

“Now that we are members of the nuclear club, we can start talking on an equal footing. In the past, the U.S. tried to whip us, as though they were saying, ‘Little boy, don’t play with dangerous things.’ “

Where is the quote to back this up…I bet there was no bias there and the editorial review that checked this out as well. Did this come from Mr. Anonymous?

The North Koreans said they were keenly attentive to the language used by Bush administration officials in regard to their country.

Without living up to the agreement they want the US to bow down to them…

“We were hoping for change from the U.S. administration. We expected some clear-cut positive change,” the North Korean said. “Instead, Condoleezza Rice immediately committed the mistake of calling us an outpost of tyranny. North Koreans are most sensitive when they hear that kind of remark.”

For a simple business man Mr. Anonymous sure knows a lot about the huge divide in the nations involved.

“If we sort out the problems with America, everything else will fall into place. The problems with Japan can easily be sorted out,” he said.

the deep thoughts of the simple business man Mr. Anonymous

“People are just trying to live a normal life.”

This is the biggest blow of smoke from the LA Times in many days….

Moving to Phoenix

Well, Not very long ago I wrote Sometimes Life happens. In the short couple weeks I started to think about that I have made some changes. Tomorrow is my last day working for a beer company. I am going to miss that part of the job. I will be packing and moving to Phoenix over the next week or so. I love Colorado and grew up here, but there is just not the opportunity that you would expect here. I lived in deserts for most of my military career so the heat will not bother me to much.

On Wednesday, I start a new leadership job in an outsourcing company in Phoenix.
It is going to be very fun and challenging. I am excited for the opportunity and the fact that the economy is doing well and companies are really starting to implement new solutions for business. I guess I will have to start another new blog for technology and outsourcing and its uses in business. There is not enough of this type of stuff on the internet already.

So I might be a little busy the next couple days and posting might be lighter than my normal light posting.

Quote of the Day

Don’t go around saying the world owes you a living.
The world owes you nothing.
It was here first.
