Quote of the Day

The great trouble with baseball today is that most of the players are in the game for the money and that’s it, not for the love of it, the excitement of it, the thrill of it.

It’s not unique to Baseball. Even hockey has succumbed to the crass money-grabbing. It almost destoyed abseball and it WILL destroy hockey.

Baseball is a waste of time to watch. I used to go to games all the time but stopped when they pulled their little strikey thing a few years ago. I adopted football instead. Now if I could just get to a game instead of working every Sunday. Every year I get season tickets to all the Patriots home games..but didn’t go to one.
