Got Taged with turds

Raven who is a great Lady with some troll turds floating around he bloghouse taged me with this meme.

Trying to track it backwards leads from Raven, to Cao, to Pirate’s Cove, moehawk, phin, Silk, Teafizz, Elisson. Elisson is the bastard that started this meme.

Glad it is only nine deep when I got taged.

The rules are simple: write a poem with “turd in a punchbowl in the first and third lines, that pass it on to 3 unsuspecting bloggers suckers.

Turd in a punchbowl
Body Shots, body shots in the pool
Turd in a punchbowl
Don’t you wish, don’t you wish you were this cool

I’m tagging HB because more people need to read his stuf now that he moved to from Shades of Gray, Fate to help her over her writers block, and Ogre as punishment for starting one of these damn things.

Not to mention this is an easy way to link to several people and get some linky love….
And because I am a geek also I followed this back to the bastard that started this and posted there poems in the extended area…

Hold Their Feet to The Fire

The Mad Tech has a post on Why Illegal Immigration Is Everyone’s Problem that besides being well thought out has links to groups that are doing something about it like FAIR Where they are hosting the Hold Their Feet to the Fire! Join a National Immigration Rally This April In Washington.

America needs your help. Illegal aliens and their friends in Congress are trying to derail legislation that would strengthen our borders and keep illegal immigrants from getting driver’s licenses. It’s time to come to Washington, D.C. and tell Congress in person what you have been telling them over the phone and in letters and faxes. This is your chance to tell Congress directly - we’re tired of America selling out to cheap labor and corruption.

Majority Rule

What A Bunch Of Cowards You Are!

GM Roper has an opinion on the state of the Party..
I happen to agree 100,000,000,000 times.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. The best of times? Easy, Republicans have the White House, the House of Representatives and the Senate. The worst of times? Again, easy! The Republicans are too stupid to capitalize on their gains.

Simple and to the point.

His take on the cause I think is off a little.

The Republicans on the other hand have all the intestinal fortitude of an earthworm (That much? … ed.). They are deathly afraid that if they call for the “nuclear option.” they will lose the vote because of a few namby pamby, panty waisted, girlie men by the name of McCain, Voinovich, Chafee, Snow and perhaps a few others. They are also worried about having to abide by the “new” rule when they are out of power as they will sooner or later be (unless the Democrats continue to act like the children they are in which case the Republicans may be there a very long time.)

I think there are many many more names that belong on that list. They are all becoming weak in the majority. Where is Newt Gingrich and his leadership?

Go read his whole rant. I only quoted a small part of it.

Hand cuffs and Kids

Sharpton tells O’Reilly no child should be handcuffed (except if you bring water to Terri Schiavo?)

Today I’m watching with disbelief the so-called “Civil Rights Activist” and Reverend” Al Sharpton on the FOX Cable O’Reilly Factor, and Sharpton remarks to Bill O’Reilly in comments about the recent news items regarding the Florida police who handcuffed an unruly five-year-old girl after she acted up in her kindergarten class, that no child should ever be put in handcuffs by the (Florida) police in such circumstances, even if unruly.

Of course, immediately my first though was the child, in fact children, who were handcuffed and led off arrested by the Florida police for trying to bring Terri Shaivo a glass of water.

And, where was Al Sharpton then? Where was the ACLU, then?

I am already hearing reports of an ACLU lawyer who is bring suit regarding the handcuffing of this out of control brat. The same ACLU that did everything they could to see that children who try to bring Terri Shaivo a glass of water are handcuffed, and that Terri dies.

It is absolutely sickening. I spit on the ACLU, it’s exactly as Michael Savage says – the ACLU is the Enemy Within and is one of the most dangerous enemies of our nation and our freedoms. In the same O’Reilly Factor we hear the ACLU defends NAMBLA whose member is a sexual predator of children and a child-murderer.

My God. What kind of world do we live in? It was only one month ago today, on March 24th – 26th, that children were being handcuffed and arrested by the Florida police, and already most have forgotten but for the same liberals who did this by means of their ACLU courts, the same liberals are screaming that this brat in Florida was handcuffed, and now they got their ACLU lawyers working the case and the ilk of Al Sharpton who will tell us that no child should be handcuffed. I guess the Al Sharpton rule of law is, no child should be handcuffed if the punk is black and disrupting the classroom and endangering other children and the teacher … but for those children who actually are standing up for REAL civil rights, it’s a good, ACLU, thing to handcuff them. Especially if they are white kids. The banal of an Al Sharpton and the morass of the ACLU.

Damn Bloggers spreading lies like that….

Issues List

I was thinking today about what issues we have and where we are with dealing with them.
Global

  1. Global War on Terror
  2. We are winning against Al Qaeda, We are winning against Terrorists in Iraq. We have continued to be safe in the US. Continue to support our troops (Sheep Dogs) that are standing watch and in harms way.

  3. Performance of the UN
  4. the UN is a pathetic group of spoiled, lawless, leftist, ANTI-AMERICANS living in America. Great Concept, BAD Leadership. Call for throwing out the UN until they live up there a basic level of law and standards. Reform it so what it does and why it does it is transparent.

  5. Relationship with Socialist Countries
  6. Who Cares. Oh, that’s right the Liberals/progressives care. Stop Communism from Spreading. at any costs

  7. Atomic Weapons
  8. North Korea wants/has them. The left wants the US to recognize they are a Nuke Power, The Right says who? Iran is building a facility. Israel will have to do something. America is saying Stop or we will stop……..something….no one knows for sure. Could Iran be the next VICTORY of American Military Policy?

Local

  1. Border Security
  2. Every Politician is being a puss on this save one, Tom Tancreado. CLOSE THE BOARDERS other than legal entry points. Set a standard and make everyone meet it. I am thinking not one dime more is a good plan. If the Elected Republicans wont stand up and do/fight for what Americans want them to then they should step out. Retire, become Tom Daschle, Lose the next election..

  3. Economy
  4. Stop Spending like the Socialists.

  5. School performance
  6. Dismantle the Teacher Unions. Make Parents responsible for a raising their children, Make Teachers responsible for teaching. Measure both and hold people accountable for there roll. Stop the Liberal brain washing of only there point of view.

  7. Crime
  8. We have laws that define punishment. Hold people to the same standard regardless of who they are.

  9. Jobs
  10. Quit allowing people to live on Welfare for there entire life. Enable programs to put people to work if they want work. Make people responsible for working for what they want.

  11. Taxes
  12. Impliment a Flate Use Tax!

I know there are many more. What issues do you see and what would your solution be…let me know.

As you can tell, there are some open issues. I got called to the office to check on some computers and had to finish up late tonight. I will add more as I think of it.

Benedict XVI Formally Installed as Pope

Fox news had this Story on Pope Benedict XVI.

VATICAN CITY - Pope Benedict XVI (search) thanked journalists Saturday for their coverage during the “historically important” events during the papal transition, urged them to remember their ethical responsibilities and said he hoped to continue his predecessor’s tradition of openness with the media.

This is the start of a papacy that starts under the spin of the media. This media in America has started with spinning the fact of the election of Pope Benedict XVI as a bad thing. They say he is to conservative. He needs to be more open to what people (Liberal Americans) want. I say NO. They should do what they have always done. He was elected by the church leaders because of who he is. Not by the people. The Papacy is not a democracy, or a republic. It is the church. I have had talks with some catholic friends and some like the election, and some don’t, but all are very respectful and happy that the leadership position of the church is filled.

I like the fact that the church made its choice for the church and not for what the Muslims, Buddhist, or what the leadership of any one country wanted. It is about keeping the church strong. Fixing the problems that the church is dealing with now, and making sure the faith is there for the next generation. It is not about what the current media hype topic is about at the moment.

I happen to be a member of the Lutheran church of America. We are reformists. But I do believe in many of the foundations of the Roman Catholic Church. Pope Benedict XVI has some challenges to deal with. I for one would like the child abuse scandal to be handled with equity. This is the priests that are accused should be dealt with in the same manor as people in the church that gets a divorce. The should be ex-communicated immediately and turned over to the local law. These are people and they will be the death of the Church if the church tries to hide and PROTECT these evil men. God might forgive them but Man should not protect them.

I also like the fact that the pope has a sense of humor. He is human.

He read portions of his speech in Italian, English, French and his native German, joking that “since we are in Rome” he had to return to Italian.

No matter what the left/Liberal/Progressives/ Democrats/Socialists think this Pope is a good man. He is not the “Nazi” or “German Shepard” that they are calling him. He is a Christian with deep beliefs in God and Gods love.

Pope Benedict XVI has responded firmly to the first challenge of his papacy by condemning a Spanish government bill allowing marriage between homosexuals. Looks like Pope Benedict has put a stake in the ground and is standing by it. It is driving the typical Democrats mad.

God Bless, God Speed

Need MilBlogger Volunteers

MilBloggers,

The Department of North Carolina: Veterans of Foreign Wars together with the Departments of Virginia, Delaware, Missouri and Wyoming are pleased to announce that our new Military WebCOM Video Conferencing Program for our soldiers and their families is ready for Beta Testing. Our program will enable a Solider and a significant other to communicate with audio/video via the Internet at no cost.

National VFW Commander John Furgess has offered to inaugurate the program by placing the first call to the troops.

What we need are volunteers presently stationed in Iraq or Afghanistan with the “right stuff” a computer, Internet connection , a web cam and the ability to be available today April 23 at 7:30pm Eastern Standard Time.

The VFW through programs like its Operation Uplink has always demonstrated its support in assisting military families in staying connected. This new Departmental program will only strengthen this dedicated effort.

If you can support our efforts or have any questions please e-mail vfwwebcom@gmail.com or call Ross Myers or Tara Sue Clark at (336) 235-2393. Thank you.

Yours in Service,
Ross Myers
