I agree! That’s why I wonder that more right wing bloggers, pundits, theocons, and neocons aren’t signing up to serve the cause of Freedom. Recruitment numbers are way down, so how about getting your group to volunteer for some of George Bush’s wars of choice?
Mugsy on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 09:04:45 #
I’m more than willing to defend all of those things.
Is someone threatening them? Last news I heard on the liberty, life, freedom and family front was that we have a national ID and the Dept of Homeland Security can’t stop a cessna from doing a flyover on the White House.
Tell me, is there a component of being informed here, or am I a sissy for not enlisting because someone said the Iraqis were massing for an attack in Quebec?
anonymous war-flogger on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 09:15:39 #
I would not hesitate to sign up if it weren’t for the fact that I just got on track for a big promotion at work and my family is depending on me to take them to Disney World this year.
If I didn’t have all of those responsibilities then I would be first in line to defend truth, justice, and the American way.

“He who joyfully marches to music rank and file, has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice. This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action. It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder.”

Well…I got a reason I can’t go at least. The Navy does not take 350lbs men with 2 artificial knees. I know…I tried. Now…being opposed to the Chimp’s presidential leadership on all things military, I’m kinda glad they didn’t take me.
Kender on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 10:25:32 #
What a bunch of whiners.
I tried several times to go. Bad health stopped that plan.
I have 3 brothers in the military, and a brother-in-law. Retired military are as common in my family as bad logic is in the democratic leadership.
and 350 lbs with two bad knees?
I wonder, did the bad knees lead to the weight? Or is it, Ias I have seen so many times, the other way around?

Yeah, that’s the spirit, you big strong patriotic man you! Here’s a gun, now go shoot those people over there. Bombs don’t cost money; they make money!
Michael on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 10:56:08 #
SH- get your facts straight. War of choice? Find new talking points. Your lame.
Mugsy, You’re a sissy because you make excuses for your life.
Anonymous war-flogger – nice excuse for a life you have.
Not Me (Loser) – loser
Jamie – get outside and work a little and your knees would not be so bad.
Not really Karl Rove- I thought you were going to argue something? I guess not.
Cao on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 11:38:20 #
wow, Mike, you got hit by lefty lunacy at its finest. A bunch of liberal whining sissies. Too bad they don’t realize that almost every one of the wide awakes is either in the military or has family who is. DUH!
We just don’t brag about it. Unlike lefties who, with their self-inflated sense of importance, need to brag about things in order to feed the incessant hungry narcissist within.
Cao on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 11:40:26 #
And that’s why they come over here, for negative attention. Probably did that all through their little pathetic lives, poor dears. There is help available for that, but causes like Code Pink-o and Ralph Nader’s Green party will lift them up and make them feel as though they’re contributing–the poor misguided outcasts.
Kender on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 11:43:07 #
Wow…this place reminds me of main street in a western once the outlaws got run out of town…..(tumbleweeds tumblin’ past as a forlorn wind moans like a lefty last Nov 4th)

Mike, I do believe Mugsy is jsut stupid , just a heads up.

I get so turned off by men who are not willing to fight for their country.
They whine and complain about every little problem, complain about their poor lives and they don’t realize they create it all for themselves in the first place. It’s called being SELFISH and SELF CENTURED. They think they are tough men. All full of themselves, they call themselves real men????
They sure have no problems living their lives with all the rewards of a free society….but ask them to stand up and defend that lifestyle..they go limp in about 3 seconds.
Real men indeed.

I was gonna go, but little Johnny has to be at soccer practice by 6pm…
Raven on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 12:18:05 #
Kender….LOL this is funny and so true:
“I wonder, did the bad knees lead to the weight? Or is it, Ias I have seen so many times, the other way around?”
Liberal group think. It’s everyone else’s fault except mine.
hmmm on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 13:23:21 #
haha… edit the comments and still you can’t even spell correctly. nice.
I’m not even sure I was disagreeing with you, but what’s the point of defending Uncle Dick. He didn’t join us in the military.
Raven on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 14:44:38 #
Ha Ha Hmmm. Don’t pick on other’s spelling when your own punctuation leaves nothing (and I mean nothing) to be desired.
Michael on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 15:01:09 #
hmmm,
It is fun to edit the comments when you play anoumous. You will see other than names I have not edited any other comment.
You are at the University of Wisconsin-Extension (is that Stevins Point?)
Raphael on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 16:53:50 #
What a bunch of baloney. “I’d sign up if I weren’t so important…” “Blah blah blah…” I’d sign up to fight for this war if I didn’t have better things to do (i.e., not killing people for political and financial gain).
Raphael on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 16:56:36 #
And if you REALLY cared about fighting for this country, maybe you would try to keep yourself fit. If you let yourself get too fat to serve, you are neglecting your duty to the country.
John Kerry on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 17:20:56 #
Cao please stop making fun of my lady friends at Code Pink O. I am very offended at your preposterous notion that they are hungry narcissists. Did you know that pink is my favorite color?
And stop calling me the gigolo. I am not.
Mrs. Kerry on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 17:58:29 #
Now now, John dear, don’t get upset. You know Cao is upset with you about not signing your 180. I know you want to keep it out of the public consciousness that you got your honorable discharge 6 years after you got out of the navy and people think that’s suspect, but we have plenty of money and the flying squirrel…and homes outside the country in case you have to run again. And you have a manservant now to pack your things. So don’t get your panties in a wad, dear, it’s time to go to the Heinz Endowment Awards dinner. Let’s find your tux.
Mustang on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 18:21:00 #
The downside of fighting for one’s country is that included in that number are miserable assholes like “Loser.” But I do agree with him on one thing; I would prefer that he were torn apart also.
KAHG on 16 May 2005 at Mon 16 May 2005 21:41:37 #
If by fighting for yor family and country you mean Iraq don’t think so. Afganistan maybe. The first time chisti-cons try to force my child to pray in school hand me my rifle.
Raven on 17 May 2005 at Tue 17 May 2005 03:09:46 #
Hey KAHG-if that is how you feel than you must think of our actions in WW2 in the same light. Japan attacked America; we fought back with them AND we went over to Europe to defend their pansy asses.
What kind of stupid statement is that about praying and rifles? Duh.
KAHG on 17 May 2005 at Tue 17 May 2005 06:51:02 #
Thats right I forgot Saddam or his right hand man parachuted out of the planes right before they hit the WTC. The WW2 comparison doesn’t fit or if one Muslim is guilty they all are? The rifle comment was that I will defend my family against a real threat from outside or inside.
PEPPER THE POPE OF THE INTERNET on 17 May 2005 at Tue 17 May 2005 18:13:16 #
RAVEN, YOU SAY “I get so turned off by men who are not willing to fight for their country.”
SO YOU ARE TURNED OFF BY GEORGE BUSH, DICK CHENEY, NEWT GINGRICH, RUSH LIMBAUGH, TOM DELAY, JEB BUSH, RUDY GIULIANI, AND BILL BENNETT? THESE GUYS WERE ALL OF AGE TO GO AND “DEFEND THEIR COUNTRY” DURING VIETNAM BUT THEY “WENT LIMP” AS YOU PUT IT. AL GORE AND JOHN KERRY MUST MAKE YOU GO ALL GOOGLY THOUGH.
I THINK YOU’RE AN IDIOT!
- PEPPER!
Mustang on 17 May 2005 at Tue 17 May 2005 20:03:48 #
Wow. I didn’t know that Al Gore fought in Vietnam, I thought he worked as a public affairs clerk. Damn. And John Kerry — well, you’re right about that. In 3 months, he had wounded himself 3 times; what a fine up-standing veteran he was, but then of course he showed his true colors, didn’t he? While POWs were being beaten in NVA prisons, Kerry was giving the NVA more ammunition. Yep, a damn fine American. I’ll be there are true heroes living within a mile of your house, and you don’t even know who they are, or what they did. Go talk to them, and then tell me about Al Gore and John Kerry.
Michael on 17 May 2005 at Tue 17 May 2005 21:20:15 #
Pepper, What are you screaming at?
My mom yells like you do…
Semper Fi
Raven on 18 May 2005 at Wed 18 May 2005 16:51:36 #
Pepper- go to fucking hell you idiot.
John Kerry is a pathetic loser who didn’t really get hurt…a little scratch on his ass that a bandaid took care of? All self inflicted of course to mold himself into some sort of HERO.
George Bush is a far better man because right here and now he is defending this country…his time wasn’t UP back in the Vietnam days.
Stay limp because no one wants you.
