Mr. Rove done it…

The Jr. Senator from The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is showing his great leadership skills again. He has a form letter that is calling on our GREAT president George W. Bush to fire his advisor Karl Rove.

Dear President Bush,

Karl Rove, your most senior advisor, is embroiled in another controversy - this time for leaking the identity of a covert CIA agent. Despite carefully worded denials, it is now apparent that Karl Rove discussed the identity of an undercover CIA agent with a reporter. His clear aim was to discredit that agent’s husband who had dared to challenge the administration in the buildup to the war.

I’m so glad that the limp wrist Jr. Senator from Massachusetts knows the truth…Wait is he wrong again? Yep. See the New York Times report on July 15th.

On Oct. 1, 2003, Mr. Novak wrote another column in which he described calling two officials who were his sources for the earlier column. The first source, whose identity has not been revealed, provided the outlines of the story and was described by Mr. Novak as “no partisan gunslinger.” Mr. Novak wrote that when he called a second official for confirmation, the source said, “Oh, you know about it.”

Who was the first source?

And don’t forget that it was Ms. Wilson that urged that HER husband be sent to Africa to investigate if Sadam had purchased Uranium.
Not the Vice Presidents office as Mr. Wilson lied about..

In February 2002, I was informed by officials at the Central Intelligence Agency that Vice President Dick Cheney’s office had questions about a particular intelligence report. While I never saw the report, I was told that it referred to a memorandum of agreement that documented the sale of uranium yellowcake - a form of lightly processed ore - by Niger to Iraq in the late 1990’s. The agency officials asked if I would travel to Niger to check out the story so they could provide a response to the vice president’s office.

But Mr. Novak new more than Mr. Wilson? WOW, that is news.

Mr. Novak then turned to the subject of Ms. Wilson, identifying her by name, the person said. In an Op-Ed article for The New York Times on July 6, 2003, Mr. Wilson suggested that he had been sent to Niger because of Mr. Cheney’s interest in the matter. But Mr. Novak told Mr. Rove he knew that Mr. Wilson had been sent at the urging of Ms. Wilson, the person who had been briefed on the matter said.

And all the while, while Mr. Jr. Senator from The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is helping America by playing politics. If you can’t beat them fairly…

And back to the lame political attempt of the Jr. Senator from The Commonwealth of Massachusetts political note

You have a choice to make: Spend the months ahead focused on protecting Karl Rove’s job security or spend them focused on protecting America’s national security. You cannot remain silent.

All I’m asking is that you remain true to your word. When the scandal first broke, your spokesman, Scott McClellan, said “If anyone in this Administration was involved in it, they would no longer be in this Administration.” (9/29/03, White House press briefing). What you do now, in light of Karl Rove’s involvement will speak volumes.

Decency-and the interests of the American people–demand an end to Karl Rove’s days in the White House. You have the choice to either make good on your promise to hold accountable those who shared the identity of a secret soldier in the war on terror - or prove that promise hollow. I call on you to keep your promise to the American people and fire Karl Rove.

Sincerely,

Now Mr Jr. Senator from The Commonwealth of Massachusetts

With the information that the NYT’s report shows, it was not Karl Rove that leaked the name. Will you apologize for being stupid? If it was Mrs. Clinton that was the leak? Should she resign in total disgrace?

I think the first source was Mrs. Clinton! Who else would a NYT’s reporter go to joil to protect. Who do you think it was?

Just my thoughts…

I can’t keep up with this story. I don’t think Rove did anything wrong…if anything he was trying to steer the reporters away from naming names….But you’re right, Mr. GayWrist Jean Francois Kerrie has demanded Rove be stripped of his stature.
Mr. Kerrie needs to be…well..you know.

If I know Karl Rove, it’s going to turn out being Joe Wilson.
