WOW

These are some horrofic pictures of brave men in harms way.

Under fire and without a weapon, Gunnery Sgt. Ryan P. Shane, with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment (Regimental Combat Team 7), runs to a downed Marine to pull him to safety during combat operations in Fallujah, Iraq, on Nov. 9, the morning after Marines entered the city during Operation Al Fajr.

This is why you always respect the Gunny.

Freepers are in the mix

Aaron Smith has a post on the SoCal anti-illegal immigration town hall forum

Here is a small sample.

I spent most of the evening standing next to a giant of a man who told me that as a Democrat, he’d spent his youth protesting Vietnam and was usually on the other side of the police line. However, illegal immigration (and its depression of construction wages) made this Democrat see red. Take the hint, President Bush. Dropping the “guest worker” plan is good policy and better politics.
