For the left that Hate the military

“There are some who’ve forgotten why we have a military. It’s not to promote war; it’s to be prepared for peace.”

The liberals don’t care…with all the crap they have been doing the past couple weeks-they really hate the military. And it’s because of the military they can do all their crappy protests.

I think the Phoenix Sunrise needs to go set.

Ms. Lady Phoenix no one loves this country more than Michael…he just loves it enough to defend it, and defend our way of life. That’s what you don’t understand.

No, I love this country enough to defend it, if you’ve read any of the other comments I’ve made on this blog.

I also love our way of life. You have no idea how thankful I am that I don’t live in India, Pakistan, Cuba, North Korea…

What you don’t understand is that loving my our way of life also means not allowing the lying bastards in Washington rape me of my rights while I’m being distracted by their propaganda. It’s more patriotic to question my government’s motives and intentions than to follow them blindly into hell. That’s what the germans did in the 30s and 40s. They let it become the way it was because they didn’t squash it in the beginning. We may or may not be headed in that direction, but it’s our duty as citizens to be sure it doesn’t, for our own sakes and for the sake of our children.

All I want is to see our military used for its proper purpose, and at this time, I have doubts as to the validity of the wars being waged by this administration. It’s that simple. It doesn’t mean I hate the military, it doesn’t mean I don’t love my country, it doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate the “American” way of life. It simply means I want to be sure that the America my child inherits is one of which I’d be proud to leave her.

    People against recruiting

I am in the Army. Although when I was a teen I was against it.
    Now I am recruiting.

What happened from against the idea to joining to recruiting.
I learned something. Not from CNN, or my friends or some professor that never had the balls to join. I was in a bad place. I wanted nothing more then this life to be over with. I was battling with God. I would ask, why me, why was my life so hard. My parents dyeing when I was young, my first birthday party was 13, and that was a sympathy thing from my neighbors. I needed answers. So I challenged God. I told myself that I would put myself under more pressure. I would be humbled and I would be spit on. I joined the Army. I think I did it to try to push myself to the point. So maybe pulling the trigger would be easier. I was spit on, I was pushed. My drill SGT called me maggot. Then one day after the entire test he sat me down and said that I made him proud. He said that he trust me with his life. He began to mentor me. Take me under his wing. I realized that I was the “select few”. I was let into his circle of trust. A man that had been to war had trusted me. I then realized that I had earned something. No longer was I trying to explain my unfortunate past, but I thanked God for it. I was a self starter. My questions and answers while growing up were earned, and not given by some lazy parent with a lot of baggage. My character was pure and earned. My soldiers are my brothers. They would take a bullet for me. There are not many civilians that I could say that about.
I have been to Iraq and Afghanistan both, I have healed children, built schools, trained there police and army. And yes I have killed terrorist. I have done things that make me feel as if when God himself faces me I will not be convicted with self preservation, and selfishness. Honestly ask a civilian what the most significant thing they have ever accomplished was. Let me guess. “I built a house. I got a degree, I had kids” Who hasn’t?
I have learned that people in the military are honorable, loyal and god fearing people that want nothing more then to better themselves. We are not looking for anything less. If this letter has not touched a place in your heart then continue to serve yourself and criticize your soldiers. We are not looking for a pat on the back. Just the few like us to help us in our struggles.
