Bill Bennett and the left

Dr. Bennett was on Fox last night talking about the quote that the left is trying to girll him with.
NewsMax has an article today

“I do know that it’s true that if you wanted to reduce crime, you could, if that were your sole purpose, you could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down.”

This last peice was left out of most lefty sites and many people like Allen Colmbs are trying to really blast Dr. Bennett and was taken to the mat by Bill last night.

“ridiculous and morally reprehensible.”

Colmbs is “STUCK ON STUPID” (doing my part to burn this term out ;-D)

Of course the fat ass lefttards are screaming and nashing their teeth.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who said last year that the Supreme Court’s lone black member was “an embarrassment to the court,” is demanding that Bennett “issue an immediate apology not only to African Americans but to the nation.”

no double standards here.
This was the best part of all.

Responding to his critics, Bennett told the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity & Colmes”: “I’ll not take instruction from Teddy Kennedy. A young woman likely drowned because of his negligence . . . . He should make no judgments at all about other people. He shouldn’t be in the Senate.”

OUCH that had to hurt poor liberal Allen

Neither Kennedy nor Dean nor Reid has ever condemned Democratic Sen. Robert Byrd, who rose to the rank of Grand Cyclops in the Ku Klux Klan based on his ability to recruit new members.

About time someone on the Right throws the race card back at the left.

In an autobiography released earlier this year, Byrd said the Klan was a “fraternal group” made up of “upstanding’ people” - a characterization which drew no protest from Reid, Kennedy and Dean.

This is what the left thinks? WOW

Media Matters has the transcript. The conversation was way out there!

Don’t send in the Marines

Ollie North has a great article on Posse Comitatus Act and probable impact of making the DOD a first responder. Ollie points out that all military will have to then train to meet this need and not train on destroying the enemy like we need. Ollie, I believe is correct. the Federal government can not be everyware, all the time.

First, neither this President nor any other needs more legalor legislated authority to send U.S. troops into the teeth of a disaster. Every President’s aides carry PEADs — Presidential Emergency Action Documents — draft Executive Orders giving the Chief Executive broad authorities in the midst of a declared national emergency. In May of 1992, President George H. W. Bush issued such an order at the request of California governor during the Rodney King riotsin Los Angeles. His Executive Order 12804 suspended the proscriptions of Posse Comitatus to allow Army and Marine units to restore law and order.

This gets to the point also of state and federal duties and rights. The state has the responsibility to focus as the first responder to any disaster with the federal government organizing and bringing in support shortly after because we can not station the teams that close to the possible disaster.
These PEAD’s take care of times when a state has to ask for assistance but they also maintain the leadership role. But it is the state that is in the area of concern and the best able to be first responders at least for three days.

What is Life?

“Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, toughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming,

“WOW, What a Ride!!”

Nope, no political agenda here

Coming Soon: The Ronnie Earle Movie

For the last two years, as he pursued the investigation that led to Wednesday’s indictment of House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, Travis County, Texas prosecutor Ronnie Earle has given a film crew “extraordinary access” to make a motion picture about his work on the case.

Mark Birnbaum makes documentaries, and documentary-style films for business. That is just evil! Do it for the good of the communist Socialists Democrat party

Earle “allowed us behind the scenes when the indictments came down last year, the first wave of indictments,” Schermbeck says. “We got to follow him back to his home a couple of times, which I understand he doesn’t allow anybody to do.” Schermbeck says the film includes interviews with some critics of Earle, as well as lawyers who are representing some of the targets of the investigation.

Sure….

The Swift

Life has been compared to a race, but the allusion improves by observing, that the most swift are usually the least manageable and the most likely to stray from the course. Great abilities have always been less serviceable to the possessors than moderate ones.

Tom DeLay Indicted

The attacks on Tom Delay finally came up with a indictment.
The facts released are so weak that once the case is thrown out Tom will be back. The hatred of anyone that is a good leader and able to accomplish things for the GOP, the left needs to smear to try to stop progress.
So today Tom stepped down from his leadership post but not out of his seat.

At a news conference in Austin, Earle, a Democrat, declined to comment on any evidence he had linking DeLay to the alleged conspiracy. But he denied any partisan motivation, telling reporters that 12 of the 15 public corruption cases he has prosecuted involved Democrats.

Right, this is not a partisan attack? What ever!

“The law says that corporate contributions to political campaigns are illegal in Texas,” he said. “The law makes such contributions a felony. My job is to prosecute felonies. I’m doing my job.”

Nice try, and CNN is talking about how this is going to crush the total Republican strong hold on both the house, senate, and the white house. CNN is a pathetic group that calls themselves reporters, they are kool-aid drinking leftist propagandists.

Chris “leftist” Mathews Sucks on another thumb

The Political Teen has the Video of the exchange that is better than the Transcript.

KING: As far as President Bush, it’s wrong for you to say he wasn’t caring, he certainly was caring. What he was not equipped for was to explain for the incompetency of the local officials or to explain the hysteria… to anticipate the hysteria of people like you in the media who go off the deep end. Let’s treat this with a little bit of rationality and a little bit of decency.

MATTHEWS: The fact is that most people trust the media on this story because the pictures of what was happening down there in New Orleans apparently got to them before they heard of any federal action.

KING: Chris you are totally distorting reality, and that’s the problem with you. You’re distorting reality. You’re on this story, you and MSNBC got carried away with this. You should all be ashamed of yourself. You’ve disgraced yourself and the media.

Chris You really do SUCK
Amen!

New Technology on the way

The Marine Corps has awarded a four-year prime contract, potentially worth $125 million, to Northrop Grumman Corp. to provide new ground-based radar that consolidates four different radar mission areas into one, the company announced last week.

The cost-plus-incentive-fee contract was awarded to Northrop Grumman’s electronic systems sector in Baltimore, which designs, develops and manufactures defense and commercial electronic systems. The contract’s first increment for the system design and development phase is valued at $7.9 million.

Northrop Grumman’s team includes Sensis Corp. of East Syracuse, N.Y., CEA Technologies Inc. of Colorado Springs, Colo., Techrizon LLC of Lawton, Okla., and Caterpillar Logistics Services Inc. of Morton, Ill.

The ground-air task-oriented radar is mounted on Humvees and uses electronically scanned array technology to provide aircraft detection, tracking and engagement. It also detects and engages cruise missiles, locates ground weapons and controls air traffic.

This is going to require lots of changes to the MAGTF structure. Seems they are becoming more decentralized while becomeing more intergrated. Talk about a cool future.

here is a pretty good site to find the best prices in your area.
GasBuddy.com

I got crazy and called a couple stores to check the accuracy and they were correct for the Phoenix area. The mean price tonight was $2.90.

I don’t get the question, America runs on gas, of course it will make it cost more for me to take my road trip and that is a hardship the government sould pay me for….maybe 25% of tyhe people are to rich to feel the impact but why are they taking the poll anyway? too rub it in? bastards

We showed up at 11:00 AM and stayed until 1:00 PM and decieded it was very hot, so next week we will make some changes like move it to Saturday and starting at 9:00 AM.
We had a lot of cars waving and honking horns, overall it was a success.
Sign up at ProtestWarrior.com and come out and join us.
