Illegal Iimmigration in the spotlight this fall
Tancredo predicts fight in Congress over immigration
DENVER Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo is vowing to fight any effort to give amnesty to workers in the U-S illegally.
We need to provide as much support for Tom Tancredo as possible. Tell your neighbors.
This fall lawmakers are expected to take up a slew of bills dealing with everything from border security to guest workers.
And also the devastation of hurricane Katrina!
The White House declined comment on Tancredo’s remarks today.
This is news? The Administration and the rest of the people that should be representing Americans suck on this issue.
The two most prominent bills being considered in the Senate are sponsored by John McCain of Arizona, Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts, Jon Kyl of Arizona and John Cornyn of Texas.
three Rinos and one liberal extremist are doing what they can to hurt America with allowing Illegal Immigration.
The McCain-Kennedy bill would allow illegal immigrants in the country to work for up to six years before they must return home or apply for permanent residency.
Allow them to stay? Allow them to break the LAW and be rewarded for it? NO. Fix immigration by making every person that wants to migrate to the GREAT USA follow proper channels. Make the proper channels work correctly. But not this way.
Cornyn and Kyl’s plan would give illegal workers five years to leave the country, but they could return through legal channels — including a guest worker program.
We all know this is BS.

I am the proud daughter of immigrants that came into this country “by the book”, followed the rules, and served this country in the Marines and the Navy! The didn’t cross over borders at night, they didn’t have someone “forgive” their illegal status, and they didn’t “TAKE” anything from others. They worked, worked hard, in coal mines, then opening their own businesses…they studied about this country and took their citizenship tests and proudly spoke of the day they became AMERICANS. AND the best part is they knew more about our history and what it means to be an American than most of us; they could quote the bill of rights, knew the constitution better then some of my teachers could teach it! We spoke Italian but it was our 2nd language; our parents taught us that we “are AMERICANS” first and our Italian heritage is second. My grandparents and parents taught us by example what “liberty for all” and the right to free speech and to bear arms really meant. My father joined the Marines at 17 years old (yes he lied) to help fight in WWII and protect what our “immigrant” family valued so much and worked so hard to have…….”FREEDOMS”……. so if these people want to be here; they need to work for it, they need to WANT it and they need to FIGHT for it!!! They need to be AMERICANS….. Michael, you hit a nerve with this one…….thus my FIRST BLOG!!!!!

This is a big issue for me too. Because it isn’t right to allow people to just come across the borders and take our jobs, our healthcare resources, our tax dollars to live off of…No one has a problem with LEGAL immigration except the people we are paying to represent us. And they’re not listening. The votes need to show how we feel next election.
