Tom DeLay Indicted
The attacks on Tom Delay finally came up with a indictment.
The facts released are so weak that once the case is thrown out Tom will be back. The hatred of anyone that is a good leader and able to accomplish things for the GOP, the left needs to smear to try to stop progress.
So today Tom stepped down from his leadership post but not out of his seat.
At a news conference in Austin, Earle, a Democrat, declined to comment on any evidence he had linking DeLay to the alleged conspiracy. But he denied any partisan motivation, telling reporters that 12 of the 15 public corruption cases he has prosecuted involved Democrats.
Right, this is not a partisan attack? What ever!
“The law says that corporate contributions to political campaigns are illegal in Texas,” he said. “The law makes such contributions a felony. My job is to prosecute felonies. I’m doing my job.”
Nice try, and CNN is talking about how this is going to crush the total Republican strong hold on both the house, senate, and the white house. CNN is a pathetic group that calls themselves reporters, they are kool-aid drinking leftist propagandists.

“The hatred of anyone that is a good leader and able to accomplish things for the GOP, the left needs to smear to try to stop progress.”
The right has done the same thing. They went after Clinton for Monic Lewinsky, which was ridiculous. Private wrongdoings should be kept private. The result was that Clinton had to fight impeachment, and could not go after Bin Laden.

Jorg,
It is true that all politicians do that. but the left wont acknowledge it they just point the finger..
Kind of like you are doing.

Michael,
what is the difference between the left and the right?

The left points with no facts. The left screams and makes a lot of noise, but says nothing. The left never offers anything to the debate.
Thats the difference.

And Jorg…Yes what Clinton did with Monica was a private “affair” but he chose to make it public when he lied about it under oath.
I read this indictment of DeLay and cannot find anything he did that was wrong. Funny, the legal experts can’t find anything either. The media is screaming empty rhetoric once again.

Clinton was guilty of lying to a grand jury. that really happened.
I am not against one party holding the other accountable. these chanrges that have been released (why hold back on releasing the charges) are so weak that they will be droped and the only thing that will happen is Tom Delay will have to pick back up the adgenda again.

“chose to make it public when he lied about it under oath.”
Who made him take an oath for this private stuff?
Who made this affair a topic for public debate, while Osama Bin Laden was planning 9/11?
Who did it?
Why did the Republicans go after Clinton rather than after Bin Laden, who was responsible for bombing to US embassies?
Why? Tell me?
Do they work for the good of the US or for the good of their party?
America would be more secure if you would focus on what matters.
“I read this indictment of DeLay and cannot find anything he did that was wrong. Funny, the legal experts can’t find anything either.”
Who indicted him? They are not legal experts, you say? Who is running your judicial system?

Jorg, get real. And get some help-you take yourself WAY too seriously.
Mr. Clinton has no one to blame except himself for this. He lied under oath. It doesn’t matter WHO made him do that. It’s how the system works.
What does matter is this:
Clinton was too busy with all this “private stuff” as you call it, to pay too much attention to the likes of Osama Bin Laden. Clinton did not take this threat seriously- if he did he would have DONE something about it. With or without the approval of the American people. And America has paid the price for Clinton’s inactions on these things.
DeLay has done nothing wrong and in the end this will all blow over like most of these political games.
