Bill Bennett and the left
Dr. Bennett was on Fox last night talking about the quote that the left is trying to girll him with.
NewsMax has an article today
“I do know that it’s true that if you wanted to reduce crime, you could, if that were your sole purpose, you could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down.”
This last peice was left out of most lefty sites and many people like Allen Colmbs are trying to really blast Dr. Bennett and was taken to the mat by Bill last night.
“ridiculous and morally reprehensible.”
Colmbs is “STUCK ON STUPID” (doing my part to burn this term out ;-D)
Of course the fat ass lefttards are screaming and nashing their teeth.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who said last year that the Supreme Court’s lone black member was “an embarrassment to the court,” is demanding that Bennett “issue an immediate apology not only to African Americans but to the nation.”
no double standards here.
This was the best part of all.
Responding to his critics, Bennett told the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity & Colmes”: “I’ll not take instruction from Teddy Kennedy. A young woman likely drowned because of his negligence . . . . He should make no judgments at all about other people. He shouldn’t be in the Senate.”
OUCH that had to hurt poor liberal Allen
Neither Kennedy nor Dean nor Reid has ever condemned Democratic Sen. Robert Byrd, who rose to the rank of Grand Cyclops in the Ku Klux Klan based on his ability to recruit new members.
About time someone on the Right throws the race card back at the left.
In an autobiography released earlier this year, Byrd said the Klan was a “fraternal group” made up of “upstanding’ people” - a characterization which drew no protest from Reid, Kennedy and Dean.
This is what the left thinks? WOW
Media Matters has the transcript. The conversation was way out there!

I think too many conservatives are putting way to much emphasis on bob Bird being in the Klan.I say this as a southern Black woman. This wasn’t unsual given the predominantly white population of West Virginia. There were many politicans who either members of the Klan and if they weren’t members of the klan, had klan sympathies,an example of this that conservatives forget is the late Barry Goldwater. This man also voted against the civil rights bill of 1965 but I never here conservatives mention this when talking about Goldwater.and then some of this stuff was pure politics. How do I know?George Wallace the late governor of my state of Alabama, is always demonized by ignorant and arrogant northerners both white and black, but my dad met Wallace in the 60’s when his high school had to play Robert E.Lee in Montgomery,my dad grew up in this environment and he went by all the press reports about Wallace and he was prepared for all the jabs and snubbing he had expected to receive from Wallace, but after meeting him my dad had a very different impression of this man than what the media had portrayed him to be.Also I think some of the same people need to realize that in other parts of the country you have had racist that were just as mean and nasty(Howard Beach and Bensonhurst to name a few that did make headlines in the 80’s but these people never got the recognition they deserved.also I would like to know how many conservatives grew up around us?I know about these modern liberals already, but how many of you grew up around us too?the only blacks many of these people saw was either on TV,or when they got to college,or went in the armed forces. Some of them grate on me too with their patronizing of us as well as the left, and as Charlie Brown used to say”I can’t stand it”.Yes, I do think on some points such as Reid with his tired ass, should be confronted with these double standard that he can say anything about a Black conservatives he wants and nobody on the left says anything.
