Remember the fool

Mayor Ray Nagin

“Surely God is mad at America. He sent us hurricane after hurricane after hurricane, and it’s destroyed and put stress on this country,” Nagin, who is black, said as he and other city leaders marked Martin Luther King Day.

“Surely he doesn’t approve of us being in Iraq under false pretenses. But surely he is upset at black America also. We’re not taking care of ourselves.”

Nagin also promised that New Orleans will be a “chocolate” city again. Many of the city’s black neighborhoods were heavily damaged by Katrina.

“It’s time for us to come together. It’s time for us to rebuild New Orleans _ the one that should be a chocolate New Orleans,” the mayor said. “This city will be a majority African American city. It’s the way God wants it to be. You can’t have New Orleans no other way. It wouldn’t be New Orleans.”

Most politicians are stupid but articulate, Mayor Nagin Falls far short in everything but being black.
Hay Mayor, how about being American first? Stop being the racist!

Hey…according to the left and peacenicks, Nagin is black, as such, he cant be a racist…come on now…

    LOL

Nagin is a joke, and a danger to equality.

    Nagin’s just talking.

The blacks were already a majority, he knows that. He also knows that they have much less chance of getting anyplace in life because the basic education system down there, tailor made for poor blacks, doesn’t do much in the way of teaching them enough to pass college exams or understand what’s going on if they manage to get there.

The city’s a stacked deck, the old boy network doesn’t raise too many fools in that regard.

If all the whites and their money were abruptly taken up by aliens, Nawlins would cease to exist even more surely than if it was hit by the most powerful hurricane in history.

Whites “own” the city, the black city govt serves their purpose, keeping its constituency in line, and they do as piss poor a job of that as they do everything else.

So yeah, Nagin’s just BSing in hopes of getting in a reelection bid.

    How did I miss this??
He is part of the cult of polecats (lol) that play the race card all the time. Seth is right- let’s keep everyone in their rightful place just to keep the leaders happy.

[…] Mayor Nagin is playing the race card here BIG TIME. It’s getting old. It’s getting abused at this point. He should be a leader, not an instigator for trouble. He knows better. Michael puts it best: Most politicians are stupid but articulate, Mayor Nagin Falls far short in everything but being black. Hay Mayor, how about being American first? Stop being the racist! […]

Why isn’t Nagin being investigated or INDICTED about what happened with all the money from “our” government to fix “their” levys’? MAYBE, Mary Landreau split it with him? What about that Congressman- William Jefferson I believe that commandered a Nat’l Guard vehicle to get to his house where he had packets of $100 dollar bills in the freezer that the FBI had already found & documented?
Yep, it’s a whole nuther country down there.
But… one thing is for certain in this time of gloom & doom— The BRONCOS WILL GO ALL THE WAY TO THE NFL
    SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!!!
