Nebraska gets CCW

Concealed weapons bill is approved
Hey Brent, go get yours

Nebraskans - at least some of them - will be able to start packing heat early next year. Nebraska will become the 48th state to allow citizens to carry concealed weapons after lawmakers gave 33-12 final passage to the long-disputed bill. Gov. Dave Heineman said he would sign Legislative Bill 454 into law in a ceremony early next week.

And it keeps getting better for the people above the law

one amnesty is not enough. That’s the message the Senate Judiciary Committee sent Monday. It passed a proposal that not only embraces the McCain-Kennedy guest-worker program and amnesty for illegals, but throws in a separate amnesty for illegal agricultural workers and another for illegal-alien graduates of high school, who will get legal status and in-state tuition to college. This is a festival of amnesty that throws legal status at every form of illegal alien, sometimes twice over. The Judiciary Committee proposal also would give work permits to an additional 400,000 entrants a year, almost enough to match the 500,000 illegal aliens who already cross the border annually. All this is essentially an attempt to legalize every illegal alien who is in the country, or thinking of coming to the country. The Judiciary Committee proposal makes McCain-Kennedy look modest by comparison.

Nope, we don’t need any boarder security

In ‘05 Test, Radioactive Material Gets Past Borders

POSTED: 9:18 pm EST March 27, 2006

WASHINGTON — A new report finds that undercover investigators were able to slip radioactive material across U.S. borders in Texas and Washington state during a test last year.

Radiation alarms at the unidentified ports of entry detected the small amounts of cesium-137, a nuclear material used in industrial gauges. The amounts are said to have been enough to make two small “dirty bombs.”

But U.S. customs agents permitted the investigators to enter because they were tricked with counterfeit documents.

The Bush administration said Monday that within 45 days it will give U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents the tools they need to verify such documents in the future.

Bush is wrong about boarder security. and amnesty is no solution.
Stop the political bull shit and do your jobs (that means all elected officials).

Illegal Immigrants

We should FIRE all politicians for cause. (Tom Tancredo is the exception).
We should stop the welfare state and all social programs. PERIOD. Lets get back to our heritage of self reliance.

Start enforcing laws for employment, punish companies that hire illegal immigrants, make a simple ID validation process so employers can check and retain proof that they checked id’s of their employees. impose LARGE fines on the employers that don’t.

Build a fence to stop the flow.

When an illegal gets caught dump him off on the other side of the fence (even OTM’s can be dumped over the fence), If that is how they got here.

Revoke the Anchor baby laws

Staff a INS agent in the emergency rooms of all hospitals. Stop manaditory services for Illegal’s. Allow hospitals to provide services out of their own pocket it they wish.

NAFTA is already breaking the unions by letting North American (i.e. Mexico, Canada based) companies unlimited importations. We should now just become one big land with open boarders where everyone is responsible for themselves. Drop the minimum wage to $4 per day like it is in Mexico.

Self Determination is where it is at. No Government is better than the government we have now. God help us if a dumorcaps hold any power in the future.

The evil of Manliness

Now is this what the cowed left believe? WOW

But the manliness of the Bush White House has a darker side that has proved more curse than advantage. The prime example is the war in Iraq: the administration’s assertion of the right to engage in preemptive and unilateral war; the resolute avoidance of debate about the “slam-dunk” intelligence on weapons of mass destruction; the determined lack of introspection or self-doubt about the course of the war; and the swaggering dismissal of dissenting views as the carping of those not on the team.

The dissenting views are just feelings, why does the left think we care how they feel?

Now is this just another feminist whining bitch? I think so!

Now she wants to change the rules for her own benefit…

Mansfield writes that he wants to “convince skeptical readers — above all, educated women” — that “irrational manliness deserves to be endorsed by reason.” Sorry, professor: You lose. What this country could use is a little less manliness — and a little more of what you would describe as womanly qualities: restraint, introspection, a desire for consensus, maybe even a touch of self-doubt.

SELF-DOUBT? WHAT?
Ruth, do you really HATE America?

Media Impact on Marines

Thanks to the Media hype and the political nature of the people that represent us; we now have to much armor in Iraq.

Some Marines Declining Extra Body Armor

We have to climb over walls and go through windows,” said Sgt. Justin Shank of Greencastle, Pa. “I understand the more armor, the safer you are. But it makes you slower. People don’t understand that this is combat and people are going to die.”

The hard cold facts of life as told by Marines all over the world. But the media wants to make the public think that the military/administration doesn’t support or work for the safety of the Americans in harms way. hence what the media is trying to get out is that the Administration is evil and that we need to do everything to protect our armed forces (bring them home)….

The media will repeat something as often as possible to make it true in the publics eyes, even after it has been proven false

Since the insurgency erupted in Iraq, the Pentagon has been criticized for supplying insufficient armor for Humvees and too few bulletproof vests. In one remarkable incident, soldiers publicly confronted Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld about the problem on live television.

Evil Marines don’t know that the armor is trying to protect them…

“Before you know it, they’re going to get us injured because we’re hauling too much weight and don’t have enough mobility to maneuver in a fight from house to house,” said Bain, who is assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment. “I think we’re starting to go overboard on the armor.”

There is good people using them because they offer more protection.

“I’m sure people who … lost kidneys would have loved to have had them on,” said 2nd Lt. William Oren, a native of Southlake, Texas, who wears the plates. “More armor isn’t the answer to all our problems. But I’ll recommend them because it’s more protection.”

And now for the cold hard TRUTH of the matter as told by a Marine on the ground

“The reason they issued (the plates), I think, is to make people back home feel better,” said Lance Cpl. Philip Tootle of Reidsville, Ga. “I’m not wishing they wouldn’t have issued them. I’m just wishing that they wouldn’t make them mandatory.”

And this is the media at work in our military. All of our Men and Women in the military should be provide the best weapons, the best armament, and the best intel to distroy the enemy. the media wants Americans to believe that only liberal governments want this, and not the current evil administration.

President Bush is just to manly! Get Real bitch

Why I don’t feel like a right wing nut

Reading some Arizona outdoors sites today I found this letter to the editor and wanted to share a really good overview of why the left is stupid, (just joking), why I don’t feel like right wing nut

Re: Possible News Error

1/20/06

Dear Editor,

I think your news coverage is using terms such as “left” or “right wing” in a misleading way.

Briefly, when you represent politics as a straight line, to the left is socialism and to the right is fascism.

So when you describe a political effort as coming from the left, for example, you’re really using a euphemism for some degree of socialist-style governance. Socialism is an avowed arch enemy of the American Dream.

The American Dream — freedom — stands precisely between the total state-control models of the far left and right. To the extent we sway either left or right, we weaken the very thing that makes us good. This is lost in reporting that broad brushes things as being simply left or right.

Our central ideals of rule by the people, limited government, delegated powers, ownership of property and the fruits of your labors, these make America great, a shining beacon still drawing immigrants. They are also liberties detested and lost as you stray left or right from the American center.

Now, “leftist” for example, does accurately portray many political entities you cover, like the welfare state, socialized medicine, government schools and such. “Right” however, is often incorrectly attached to things in the middle, for an interesting reason. An example illustrates.

Owning guns and lots of ammunition is typically characterized as right wing. But if you think about it, in this country, owning guns, ammo and knowing how to use them is precisely the baseline, the American way, practiced nationwide since that right appeared in our charter in 1791. This right to arms is something you do not and cannot have under left-wing socialism or right-wing fascism. It helps define those autocracies — a powerless subservient populace.

To the extent any socialist- or fascist-leaning forces are active, they eat away at American principles balanced between them, in this example, the (some would say wild) freedom to keep and bear arms.

If the American left had its way, no one would have guns but the police, a classically socialist position. But here’s the rub: why doesn’t the so-called right-wing also seek to disarm the populace, as fascism dictates? How can the strongest support for gun ownership actually come from the “radical right”?

Because those people aren’t the right wing. Defending gun rights is centrist, not fascist. It gives people power, not government. The right to arms, like firm religious belief, a strong moral sense, reducing taxation, love of country — things often portrayed as “right” are the classic American model, right in the middle. The media are getting it wrong. Here’s why.

From the left, where most of America’s anti-gun-rights sentiment resides, the American Dream is indeed to their right, but that doesn’t make it “the” right.

The moderate, God-fearing, gun-toting, compassionate citizens with a set of moral values are central, the What-America-Is-All-About component, not right wing.

You see, it’s not about the left against the right. The left is fighting the middle. America faces a battle between its core values, and socialism. And now we’ve come full circle — because the arch enemy of socialism is us.

Walking the dynamic road between the left and the right, our American way is jeopardized every time a news outlet sugar coats a socialist-leaning (or less common but equally dangerous fascist-leaning) piece of politics by calling it merely left or right.

And characterizing fundamental elements of the American Dream as right wing, because they are to the right of the left, is simply inaccurate, not a proper policy for good journalism or reasoned debate, and should be abandoned.

CCW in the mail

Yep,

It came this week, I was very busy at work and hosting my Sister/business partner and my Niece and Nephew. one night I was bringing in the mail before heading out for a night of fun with these teenagers I opened this…

So now I have to go figure out the gun and setup to be able to carry comfortably.
I have been reading many sites about carrying and because I need to run and get back in shape I need something that will allow this also. I have been thinking of this holster or this.

This is a good review of the issue in Phoenix, it is easy to find places like this to help figure out where I can carry outside of Arizona with sites like this as well as the AZ DPS CCW web site that has lots of NEED to KNOW information.

I have had my eye on one of the Kimber Pro Carry II compacts for a while too. So many options, so little time…

What do you think.

Time for the Democrats to Take a Stand

So are the Democraps LIARS or COWARDS?? I say both. For them the two go hand in hand.

Democrats make these charges. If true, then Bush is (at least) a liar, a criminal, a racist bigot, a traitor, and an international war criminal. Anyone with a shred of patriotism who believes such things would dedicate himself wholly to Bush’s impeachment and removal from office. And, if such constitutional measures did not succeed, then any patriot would be morally compelled to take extra-constitutional measures to effect his removal.

Any dems reading this? Go answer the questions. I dare you. We dare you to take a stand with facts and not hot air.

Tancredo & The Issues

Here’s one reason I like Tom Tancredo so much:

Rep. Tom Tancredo (R.-Colo.), chairman of the 90-member Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus, spoke with the editors of HUMAN EVENTS last week about the immigration-reform legislation now beginning to move through the Senate.

Now we have a bill starting through the Senate Judiciary Committee under Chairman Arlen Specter (R.-Pa.). What are your concerns there?

Number one, the bill would provide amnesty for just about every one of the 13 to 20 million illegal aliens. It has an unlimited guest-worker plan attached to it. The provisions that are designed to actually enhance border security are so weak as to be non-existent. It takes almost everything and makes it into “studies” or in some way waters down all the enforcement issues. When all is said and done, it is no better than what I call the McKennedy plan—Senators [John] McCain [R.-Ariz.] and [Teddy] Kennedy [D.-Mass.] have sort of morphed together in my mind.

We are having the same argument we have been having for years around here as to whether or not we are going to succumb to the desires of the business community and, of course, the lobbying of other governments, Mexico, specifically, but not uniquely. Other governments are funding lobbying efforts here for us to open up our borders and give amnesty to all their nationals here, because they want the remittances that flow back to their countries.

The question I keep asking every senator I happen to come across: How many people do you have writing you, calling you, faxing you, emailing you, demanding a guest-worker/amnesty program, especially legal residents of the country?

Read the rest of the interview. And think about all the other GOP candidates, and what they have to say about illegal immigration. We’ve started a Tom Tancredo For President Blogroll…if you’re interested in joining email me. Go here to see where Tom stands on the other issues. It’s NOT too early to be thinking about election 2008.

NFL footballer now a real man and a Marine

Ex-NFL player graduates from Marines boot camp in San Diego

Pfc. Jeremy Staat, a former NFL defensive lineman who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the St. Louis Rams, graduated from the San Diego Marine Corps Recruit Depot on Friday.

Enlisting “is probably one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life,” Staat, 29, told The Associated Press after his graduation ceremony.

I agree, it was the best thing I ever did.

“I never felt right about making the money I was making,” Staat continued. “We pay millions of dollars to professional athletes and entertainers, yet we pay military service people pennies to a dollar, and they’re the ones risking their lives.”

So the rest of you overpaid, over worshiped media worshiped with the fancy cribs can kiss my butt, your nothing.
