Iran: Don’t Ask for War

Ooooh aren’t we shaking in our boots now? What is up with Iran? It seems like they are provoking trouble here- kind of reminds me of North Korea.

Iran said it could defeat any American military action over its controversial nuclear drive, in one of the Islamic regime’s boldest challenges yet to the United States.

yeah sure…just send in a few Marines and all will be over.

You can start a war but it won’t be you who finishes it,” said General Yahya Rahim Safavi, the head of the Revolutionary Guards and among the regime’s most powerful figures.

No, Iran. You’re insane leader is starting a war, one that cannot be won even under the best of circumstances.

And that insane leader continues to make statements like this:

Like it or not, the Zionist regime is heading toward annihilation,” Ahmadinejad said at the opening of a conference in support of the Palestinians. “The Zionist regime is a rotten, dried tree that will be eliminated by one storm.”

Can we nuke them now??

Deport The Professor

And another one bites the dust. He’s a terrorists and don’t ever think otherwise. I hope they send him to a country where he will get what he deserves.

ST. PETERSBURG, Florida (Reuters) - Former Florida professor Sami Al-Arian, who was acquitted on terrorism charges last year, has agreed to be deported rather than face a new trial, according to published reports on Saturday.

Al-Arian and three co-defendants were arrested in 2003 and charged with providing money and support to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

The United States lists the PIJ as a terrorist organization and says it is responsible for over 100 deaths in Israel, including three Americans.

American Workers, Unions and ILLEGALS

The American worker…Those who the Unions seek to represent, often with false promises of a better life. And the Democrats- who make so much money off the unions…are at odds with each other about ILLEGAL GUEST WORKER PROGRAMS. Wonder how this will all work out?

Labor unions, which are among the Democratic Party’s most loyal supporters, are deeply at odds with the party’s push for a guest-worker program, and many Capitol Hill aides say erosion of labor’s support undermined the Senate immigration-reform bill last week.

Somehow I think the two will manage to come together, at the expense of each other though. Politics will prevail and the American worker will get screwed as always.

While labor unions say they want immigration reform, there is division among unions who support guest workers, such as the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and those who fear current Senate proposals will flood the U.S. job market and further undercut American workers with cheap labor.

Anything that causes the unions to fray apart is a good thing IMHO. I hope they get into a tizzy with each other.
