The United States calls upon the Marines to go into every situation that is dangerous. The Marines’ history is full of tales of wars and battles and campaigns that required skill, valor and- when needed- the courage to kill the enemy. All this talk about the Haditha “incident” is just that: Talk.

Rumors and lies and half truths are being spread. Politicians are using this event for their own personal means. Others are riding the bandwagon to bash the President and the war. Who is thinking about the actual Marines involved?

The media should be ashamed of themselves. This past Monday was Memorial Day. That day we’re supposed to honor those who gave their lives in the call to duty. While some local media outlets did chose to run stories that did preserve the meaning of the day, others acted in selfish manner.

So how does the “public press” celebrate Memorial Day this year? By plastering stories across the front pages featuring alleged atrocities by our troops in Haditha, Iraq. “The Shame of Kilo Company,” banners Time magazine, which originally reported the story. “Bloody Scenes Haunt a Marine,” blares the Los Angeles Times, and The New York Times proclaims, “Iraqis’ Accounts Link Marines to the Mass Killing of Civilians.” On the day before Memorial Day, anti-war Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., appeared on ABC’s “This Week,” demanding to know “Who covered it up, why did they cover it up, why did they wait so long? … We don’t know how far it goes. It goes right up the chain of command … I will not excuse murder, and this is what happened.”

The days prior to Monday were also full of this talk. It was part of big plan, I’m sure, to yet again bash the American military, to bash the Marines in particular.

War is ugly. Horrible things happen. Those Americans responsible for reprehensible acts will be punished by the military itself. Why is this news?

Why the need for the press to trumpet this news as though civilians had never been slain in the history of modern combat? Why the constant reminders of Abu Ghraib? Why the continuous focus on what Americans have done wrong, rather than what we’re doing right?

Why? Because the press has nothing else to focus on right now. The military has always been a favorite target. And focusing on the good stuff, well, just doesn’t make for good headlines. Fuck them. The good headlines could end up costing the lives of our American warriors. But the media doesn’t care.

Until the press realizes its authority is far less important than the lives of American soldiers — the same soldiers who fight to protect the rights of the American press — American soldiers will continue to face heightened hatred brought on by superfluous and counterproductive media attention. The press wishes to both undermine the mission of American soldiers and simultaneously decorate soldiers’ graves with flowered copies of the daily newspaper. This is perversion. The press’ sick delight in its own glorification continues to increase the number of “passionless mounds” in Arlington National.

I’m sick of the media’s double play on this. On the one hand they report unfounded stories and exaggerate the facts. They don’t check their sources and they spin the wording. Prison abuse and Gitmo starvation - yes- these things happened but on a much smaller scale than most think. Haditha happened, from the looks of things we know now, but it’s not as bad as the media wants everyone to think.

And the other point here: These people, these Islamafreakoids, want to KILL Americans. They did on September 11th.
They kidnap and behead inncent people. They blow themselves up on school busses full of kids. They drive bomb laden trucks into churches where weddings are taking place. The media fondles the enemy. They try to make us feel sorry for them. They want us to understand them. I say, NO. I know the enemy. I know what they have done and what they want to keep doing.

I choose the Marines. I elect them to destroy, overnight, anyone who has aim to hurt my family and friends. I call upon the Marines to do their job and do it with excellence. If a few “innocent” people get killed in that process, so be it.

THIS IS WAR. The media should get that by now but they don’t. I don’t think they ever will.

So our Senate is really the branch of the corrupt, bankrupt, lazy, ignorant, mexican government.

The Senate voted yesterday to allow illegal aliens to collect Social Security benefits based on past illegal employment — even if the job was obtained through forged or stolen documents.

I have a question for you. How do they prove they paid into the American Social Security system?
oh, now I know Vicente fuckup fox has paid for McCaint’s next presidential run..

“We all know that millions of undocumented immigrants pay Social Security and Medicare taxes for years and sometimes decades while they work to contribute to our economy,” said Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican.

Why do we want to not only give them amnesty for breaking the law and invading America and now we also want to give them amnesty for showing forged documents and making false statements AND give them money at the same time.

Hey John you are a fuck head. pound sand, If they used forged documents to get the job the employer paid into the SS account of the person that was impacted because of the identity theft…what about the Americans rights that had their identity stolen by these amnesty seeking thief…that’s right, YOU DON’T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT AMERICANS

These lazy wetbacks that are not willing to follow the laws that you are supposed to enact to protect America don’t deserve a dime of the money that they stole from American workers.

Stop all of this bullshit and build a fence. another question is why does Mexico not allow Americans to immigrate and have citizenship like they want us to grant their lazy asses.

Another person I want to meet.

PHOENIX – Sheriff Joe Arpaio thinks he has found the answer to the problem of illegal immigrants in the United States. It’s not the National Guard. And it’s not amnesty. “Fuhgeddaboudit!” growled Arpaio, his Boston accent unbleached by the desert sun. The sheriff’s solution: Lock ‘em up.

Boston accent? What’s that??

More people sneak into Arizona from Mexico than any other state in the nation. More people die in its deserts. More people commit crimes along its border. And among many Arizonans, Arpaio’s brand of frontier justice provides a quick fix and a clear counterpoint to a federal enforcement campaign that, since 1993, has failed, despite a tripling of Border Patrol agents, to decrease illegal entries along the Mexican border.

So why aren’t they doing this all along the border? It’s working.

“If you get caught by immigration, you get a free ride back to Mexico in an air-conditioned bus,” Arpaio said. “A free ride? Not in my county. I’m going to put them on chain gangs, in tents and feed them bologna sandwiches.”

That’s being TOO nice. Bologna sammiches? BULLONEY.

Mr. Murtha claims he received his information from sources inside the Pentagon, which is conducting an investigation into the Nov. 15 incident in the town of Haditha. That investigation is not yet completed, which makes Mr. Murtha’s accusation not only irresponsible, but an egregious violation of ethical conduct by a sitting congressman.

Mr. Murtha concedes that he has not read any part of the Pentagon’s unfinished report. All he has are his “sources.” But if Mr. Murtha thinks he can hide behind them, he has severely underestimated the seriousness of his accusation. By turning the presumption of innocence standard on its head, Mr. Murtha is duty-bound to name his sources or provide evidence. Otherwise, he must immediately apologize to the Marines he so recklessly labeled as cold-blooded murderers.

We’re waiting Mr. Murtha.

“There was no firefight. There was no IED (improvised explosive device) that killed those innocent people,” Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., said during a news conference on Iraq. “Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them. And they killed innocent civilians in cold blood. That is what the report is going to tell.”

OK, get out there and put your comments on record.

But Wait….

Murtha’s comments were the first on-the-record remarks by a U.S. official characterizing the findings of military investigators looking into the Nov. 19 incident. Murtha, the ranking Democrat on the Defense Appropriations subcommittee and an opponent of Bush administration policy in Iraq, said he hadn’t read the report but had learned about its findings from military commanders and other sources.

The piece of shit didn’t even read it…he is making statements of fact based on second hand comments and opinion….hemmm

What I want is the Border Closed. Permanently.
To me that means:
1) Build a fence! use the National Guard to protect the construction crew as the Mexican Criminal Army tries to support its Drug running friends.
2) Make a method that makes it easy for employers to check on right to work
3) Remove all benefits for all non citizens of America
4) Deport all Illegal aliens with a criminal record

Stop the Bull shit about a guest worker program. That is just to keep lower class workers to keep costs and wages down. Stop creating second class citizens in America. Don’t say Americans are to lazy to do the jobs. we would do the jobs if they paid a fair wage. but even the Unions like illigal immigrnats which repress wages….why’s that?

As to immigration, Mehlman just regurgitated the Bush party line: Americans, he said, “overwhelmingly” want a mechanism that will permit the 11 million illegal aliens who are already here to stay here and “do the jobs Americans won’t do.” In other words, amnesty. More bullhooey and, in this case, outright lies. Every reputable poll that asks if we should expel illegal aliens finds large majorities of Americans who say yes, we should. His further characterization of these 11 million illegal aliens as a “market problem” (more demand for low-wage labor than supply) betrays a basic ignorance of the market mechanism itself. The market doesn’t guarantee low wage labor. It guarantees that wages will rise until sufficient labor is attracted into the market. Further, the contention that these are jobs that Americans won’t do has been demonstrated all over the blogosphere to be more hogwash. And Mehlman knows it. The forces driving Bush are two-fold: a political goal of garnering the illegal alien vote, and a payoff to the corporate America that finances the Republican party - and his campaigns.

I wonder what President Bush will have to say Monday night. I’ve read reports about the Pentagon sending troops to the border…Is this being done to appease those of us who are mighty upset about this issue??
