Sacramento Anti-War Demonstration Confirms That Peace Takes Courage
But they are wrong again. It is just LAZY and ignorant.
Sacramento progressives confirmed that “peace takes courage†by holding another anti-war demonstration at 16th and Broadway. Over three hours starting at 5:00 pm, about 150 people dedicated to the anti-war/anti-Bush regime cause rejected pressure to boycott the demonstration because the “wrong people†were sponsoring it.
And they really support the troops too..
The peaceful, enthusiastic demonstration was the latest in a series beginning last summer at the busy 16th and Broadway location. Unfortunately, since the last demonstration in April 2006, another 128 U. S. troops have been killed and 378 have been wounded, “My Lai Massacre†type incidents have started to be uncovered, and untold thousands of Iraqis have died as “collateral damage.â€

Radio talk show host Christine Craft (KSAC 1240 AM) even devoted most of her June 9 program to promote the boycott, decrying the supposed take over of the demonstration by violent, communist/anarchist outside agitators. Interestingly, some listeners reported mistaking the show for a taped airing of an historical Congressional Un-American Activities Committee hearing from the 1950’s.
what does this mean? that the educated people of the left are really stupid as eggplants..
But who are these people really?
The growth of the progressive community in Sacramento has been based on the unconditional, unqualified support among all the diverse groups from the Anarchists, the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP) and the LaRouches, to Deaniac Democrats and Buchanan paleocons, coming together under the anti-war/anti-Bush banner.
I don’t get how they could be proud of anything they are doing.

peace takes courage ?? my ass. These people live on the fringe. They are borderline psycho- for real. They have to have a cause and it has to anti government. Doesn’t matter who is President either. They did similar stunts when Clinton was POTUS. I suspect they have no life really, so they resort to this stuff for fullfilment.

These are the sheep who believe that we should all be sheep so as to better suit the socialist climate they are gradually, and all too successfully, engendering in this country.
California, like Massachusettes, needs to be paid more attention by the rest of the people in America who don’t or haven’t lived there lately — there we are afforded previews of what the rest of the country will become, politically, as we permit liberals to sneak their gradual destructive changes into our society.
As regards this “Peace Takes Courage”, passive resistance BS, we had a fair sampling, courtesy of the Clinton responses to Mogadishu, two embassy bombings, the U.S.S. Cole bombing and a few other incidents of incoming violence, of what those sheep are bleating about. The fact that the above incidents led, in one way and another, to a culmination we refer to as 9-11 is totally lost on them.
It’s not a pretty picture.
