So the dogs have been unleashed, huh? And on “tiny Lebanon”? This is inaccurate and disingenuous. Israel is trying to dismantle and defeat Hezbollah, not Lebanon. Israel’s task in this regard is admittedly difficult since Islamic militants hide in civilian areas (and apparently near U.N. outposts, as well) and use women and children as shields. And we see in the last sentence above that it once again comes back to Pres. Bush, whose entire foreign policy in the Middle East has been deemed a “failure” by Buchanan.

    Thanks for the link, Raven. Addressing Buchanan’s off-the-wall “paleoconservativism” has been on my mind for a while, and the latest blast from Buchanan did it. These are critical days, not just for Israel and the world.

    My view is that we must strongly stand with Israel and against the Islamic militants who would gladly slit all of our throats, Buchanan’s included.

    Thank you DC for such a great post…a lot of folks have been steaming under their breath over Buchanan’s latest bulloney. Yes, we need to stand united with Israel at all costs.

    Michael is tied up with lots of stuff. We all miss him here and he’ll be back.
