Cowboys Vs. Cowards

commentor James proved to me once again that liberal men are cowards of the worst kind. He proved to me that it is far better to stay in the company of a cowboy who will defend me, my friends, this country— while the cowardly men like James would put me in front of them and let me take the hits. James has about as much MACHO within him as a squirrel seeing a moose.
COURAGE
To have the ability to stare the enemy in his face and not run away. One can have fear while having courage- it’s overcoming this fear and taking action that makes courage.
James has no courage.
He said: “Even though we are challenged by an enemy that is hard to define, find and defeat, we should not forfeit our principles as human beings.”
He’s making excuses and falling under his own cowardly feelings. And instead of admitting this, he chooses to place blame upon ME: “So while the world burns, and people like you get your gasoline, the world we leave our children becomes more dangerous.”
OK. People like me. Just a simple person who loves life and who takes advantage of being alive? Vs. the terrorists who HATE life and who will kill millions of people without a second thought. Who dream of doing that. I am nothing like the terrorists James. You’re a coward to even think that.
Cowboys see it differenly.
CLEAR THINKING
To see issues and facts and events as they truly are, without all the emotional side effect.
Michael is a clear thinker.
He said: “Pull your head out of your ass and look at the real world. These shit birds want to KILL Americans! I don’t want to make them my friends, I want to destroy them.”
Michael knows who the enemy is and knows how much of a threat they are. To him. To his family and friends. To his fellow countrymen. To America. He doesn’t place blame on anyone nor does he make excuses for any of it. He calls it what it is.
How does a coward react to a cowboy? Just follow the thread.
JAMES: “The problem is that you are eqaul to the terrorists in your radicalism. Really, you will never see it becuase you are an ignorant ass, but you ARE the problem… YOU are the root of terrorism. But, becuase you are blinded by your hatred and machismo, you do not see the impact of your radicalism. There is no difference between you and and a wild-eyed Islamic radical, you just live in different parts of the world. So, if you want to solve the problem with violence, kill yourself and the world will be a safer place.”
James equates Michael’s desire to kill off the threats to MANKIND with being a radical. With being “just like the enemy”…Instead of thanking Michael for being willing to kill others so that he may live, James tells him to go kill himself. COWARD. James is a coward.
Give me the cowboy anyday.
Further along, James tells me that by merely calling myself an American, I am placing “true” Americans (I guess he thinks there are two varities of us…) at risk:
That is where you are so wrong. I am not about ‘doves’ anymore than you are about the Koran. The thing is this… it is not BEING Americans that make people want to kill us.. it is the actions of Americans like YOU that got us here. The actions of poeple like YOU got us to this place.”
And this:
“You are not a hero. You are part of the damn problem. By supporting the Iraq invasion, yes, you have beheaded many. But instead of actually helping ANYONE, you sit at your fucking computer and sound tough. You’re not tough. You are a pussy… a big mouthed pussy to afraid of actually confronting how HE HIMSELF is aiding the destruction of civilization. I know war… more than you could possibly imagine. I have seen it the effects firsthand… so do not accuse me of being a chicken shit… “
Wow. I’m not sure who James is calling the pussy here- but one thing is for sure- HE IS A COWARD. He offers no evidence of his so called knowledge of war, but he sure as hell is able to call someone here names he should be calling himself. He offers no clear thoughts about WHY me, or we (Michael and I?- we cannot tell who James speaks of here) are aiding the destruction of civilization.
James, you’re a coward. You left many more comments in this thread and I cannot make sense of them. Through your name calling, your insults, your utter hatred towards me, Michael and our friends who spoke here, you prove to me ONE THING:
Cowboys are better men than cowards. It’s ok to disagree about everything. It’s ok to ask for and seek debate. But it’s not ok to spit out the vile and bitter shit you did here. Sadly, all you have convinced me of is the fact that we cannot debate with people like you. Close minded, American hating, American blaming. We do no good, no right. People like me are the enemy? I don’t think so. Liberal men turn me off and James is the epitome of a liberal man. He’s no cowboy. With all his tough words, he is still what he is: A coward.

I’m really starting to fail at any understanding with some people these days. You can mention how it’s a hot, sweltery day and they’ll go into a diatribe on how Gerge W. Bush’s policy on global warming is the root cause of how the polar ice caps are going to melt and destroy the earth. You mention that you need to go get some gas and they rant about how “they” have artifically jacked up the oil prices to stuff more money in their fat-cat, oil-baron pockets. You ask why Muslims want to rid the world of all non-muslims and they froth at the mouth about it being our fault for being too proud of who we are as human beings.
It’s a form of self hatred. They blame it on a corrupt society that they are an ingrained part of, but refuse to accept the responsibility they claim as an American responsibility. It is not cowardice that brings them to where they are. A localized example of this is called “white guilt”. Some people tend to dance around race issues in order to not offend blacks for what someone’s ancestor may have done. They consider themselves inferior for something someone else did to someone else. Unfortunately, the fact remains that per-capita blacks don’t do as well as whites in life. They refuse to accept the graces that God gave them because they are afraid that admitting they are better off than someone else is racist, or sexist or bigotted. It’s self hatred for being in a better situation than others. It is not cowardice.

I consider James a coward- it may be so ingrained in his little pea sized brain…his thinking and his excuses.
He can’t help it, perhaps. But people need to call this what is is. Self hatred? James sure comes across as if he hates himself and everyone else.
