Inviting Meat Brain to a Debate
Oct 13th 2006RavenIdiOt Lefties & Politics & Raven
So it’s time to do some serious liberal linky love. We haven’t done that here before but after THIS idiOt posted a so-called post about our friend Kat, we decided: BRING IT ON.
Who are we talking about? Why it’s Meat Brain, from the heavy-traffic, well known blog called Thinking Meat. We don’t know if MB is a he or a she. Judging by the feminine web design MB is using, I tend to think this is a woman. Never the less, let’s get to the point of this post.
Meat Brain is a troll. She goes from blog to blog, particular to those that are conservative, and attempts to “Fisk” the posts. MB makes this claim about herself:
Some meat thinks. Some doesn’t. This is what one chunk of meat has on its mind.
One chunk of meat? What kind of meat? Canned spam?
From her first post:
Hi there. I’m Meatbrain, proprietor of ThinkingMeat.net. This is where I’ll be holding forth on whatever topics interest me: science, culture, politics, family, food, you name it. I’ve had a linkdump-type blog for a few years now, but lately I’ve begun to feel the need for a place to do some longer-form writing. Well, here it is, and you’re invited to join in. We’ll discuss and debate and hopefully learn a bit from one another as time goes on.
So she claims to have been around for awhile. That’s sweet. The thing that just isn’t true here is this business about dicuss and debate. In MB’s world, there is no such thing. Examples abound.
She singles out our good friend Ogre …and makes little sense and recieves 0 comments for his effort. And in another post he again singles out Ogre. If you care to read these, you will walk away totally confused and wondering, exactly what MB’s point was. It’s that way with all her post-attacks on conservative bloggers. Talk about discuss and debate? There is none of this with MB. Because she judges and juries the writers of these blogs before they have a chance to know of the posts. That’s typical liberal method.
MB doesn’t just pick on Ogre. She also went after Kender, another friend of Michael and I. MB accuses Kender of being a racist- again another method used by those on the left who have no viable argument. In fact, browse through MB’s archives titled “Politcal Animals” and one will see she attacks Jay, Kit, Heidi, GM, Woody, Justin, Misha and Cao- all conservative bloggers who love their country and who write of internal and external threats. Why does MB single out these folks? Why not go after the big bloggers who speak about the same issues? I suspect MB is scared to do so because she knows she will be ignored. Judging by the comments being left at Thinking Meat, on the posts she uses to attack, she isn’t getting much attention PERIOD.
Why she continues to go after the mid range bloggers on the right is my question. She isn’t getting any attention for this. Her posts make little sense. She baits these bloggers, who have collectively chosen to ignore her. We decided it’s time to bait her.
Call her on her own game. We have some questions for her now.
1) The Clinton Administration’s policies with North Korea have resulted in Monday’s attempted atomic blast by the Norks. Meathead, we would like to hear your defense of Clinton and company on this.
2) It’s been disclosed that Hezbullah has many cells here in America. Meathead, we would like to know if you consider this a threat to our country?
3) Scenerio: Your child has been kidnapped by radical Muslims. They are demanding the US remove all troops from Iraq or they will behead your child. The US has, in custody, other radicals who KNOW where your child is being kept. The only way to extract this info might involve some “torture”– some slapping, punching, sleep deprivation and loud music.
a– would you insist EVERYTHING humanly possible be done to locate and save your child?
b– or would you ask the UN to intervene?
Who lives? Your child or the terrorist?
Come on Meat Brain. Use that self proclaimed bundle of hamburger in your scull here and show us some real debate and discussion.
***UPDATE***
Kat’s husband found a meaning for the word MEATBRAIN:
A person of generally limited imagination, who originates and passionately carries out hair-brain schemes, or idiotic shenanigans. While religiously insisting on being completely deck out in commando gear or home-made ninja customs.
Seems to fit perfectly!!

The very fact that she seems to consider the Serling story “The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street” as a profound reference re the meaning of life or whatever speaks volumes about this meathead character, LOL.

I’m calling MB a SHE because that blog is so feminine looking. She could be a HE. If so HE better get something a little more MANLY going on there LOL!!
I will be shocked if MB comes over. SHOCKED.

Raven, you have a far higher opinion of this… person… than I. In all the exchanges I’ve seen, in all the attempts at conversation and dialog, there has been no improvement in the give and take.
MB has never, in my experience, demonstrated any sort of “Oh, I didn’t know that! I don’t agree with it, but that’s an interesting and valid point. I disagree on points a, b, and c, and my suggestions for action are instead x, y, and z.”
No, MB prefers to embrace the “J’accuse!” attitude.
Whatever.
It’s not amusing enough for me to observe any longer, and its incessent pleas for attention weary me. I *have* a child (who is far more intelligent and cognizant of the rules of debate than MB), and I don’t care to spend my time cleaning up the drool, snot, and vomit expelled by an inferior childish (I’m being charitable) mind.

Where is MB? Not showing up for a debate?
GM Roper on 13 Oct 2006 at Fri 13 October 2006 18:22:06 #
Meat brain doesn’t debate, he/she/it asks innumerable questions, and, when he/she/it doesn’t like the answer because it is either logical or more than likely he/she/it doesn’t understand the answer, he/she/it asks the question again saying you didn’t answer.
Meatbrain…. yeah, rotted meat!
Raven on 13 Oct 2006 at Fri 13 October 2006 19:49:14 #
LOL!!! GM, you are spot on! It’s a wonder people like MB manage to survive in this world.

I have posted my (rather lengthy) response. I invite Raven and her cohort to discuss it there.

Hmm. Don’t know how I hosed the URL to my response. It can be found here:

In other words, meatbrain refuses to accept your challenge to debate, plain and simple.
Raven on 16 Oct 2006 at Mon 16 October 2006 18:55:58 #
Meat Brain the debate is here.
I am assuming you refuse this challenge, correct?
Kat on 17 Oct 2006 at Tue 17 October 2006 07:54:59 #
Looks that way to me, Raven. It always did enjoy trying to direct traffic to its blog, which is why I cut it off from posting links at CHC.
Then, of course, it couldn’t wrap its mind around the forms of civil debate and discussion, so I eventually cut it off completely… Not that! I didn’t cut that off: I doubt it’s big enough to FIND, much less cut off! (Geeze, y’all have *such* dirty minds… and don’t tell me you weren’t thinking it, ’cause I won’t believe you! LOLOLOL)

And, of course, he didn’t actually ANSWER any of the questions you asked, as usual. What’s the matter meatbrain? Scared to answer the questions?

“I am assuming you refuse this challenge, correct?”
Nope. The fact is that I have answered Raven’s questions. It seems, however, that Raven herself has chosen to abandon this discussion.
“It always did enjoy trying to direct traffic to its blog, which is why I cut it off from posting links at CHC.”
False. Kat edits comments not because they contain links to my blog, but simply to render the links unusable because the linked-to material supports my arguments. Kat also deletes comments that contain inconvenient facts, and reneges on her own promises. As a result of her policies, honest discussion is not possible on her blog,
“And, of course, he didn’t actually ANSWER any of the questions you asked, as usual.”
False. As already noted, I have answered Raven’s questions. Ogre once again resorts to a clumsy and transparent lie.
