Michael Yon delivers the truth about military and censorship
In a Weekly Standard article Michael slaps the DOD lack of leadership in the area if public relations. this is the group that is not letting the good information out to the public as much as the MSM is not wanting to let it out.
But we can and should complain when authorities willfully limit war reporting. We should do so whether it happens as a matter of policy, or through incompetence or bureaucratic sloth. The result is the same in any case. And once the matter has been brought to the attention of the military and the Pentagon–which I have quietly done–and still the situation is not rectified, it is time for a public accounting.
Go read the whole thing, and t6hen support Michael in his efforts.

Yep I have heard rumblings lately about the DOD giving media, blogger soldiers and others a difficult time.
While they need to be careful with what is put out for info, who is in the best place to share what’s going on? Those who are right in the middle of it all. Not some toad sitting at Centcom offices in Miami.
