Shooting day today

Today I wen shooting with a buddy. we had 500 GB worth of disks (at 6 GB each) to destroy.

Here are some pictures.

We set the old SUN disk up first.

Before we could start shooting we had stupid people get stuck in the sand behind us

We went over and talked to the people (This 2×4 suburban, and two low street cars) but they were pissy and didn’t even say hello or nothin so we went back to our shooting while they tried to dig out…

This is Mike (not me) shooting his SKS. (note the brass in the air.

I brought my dog to help him get used to the sounds. he was nervous at first but with some work I was able to shoot with him only 10 feet away.

After a while he was very comfortable.

We finished after about 500 rounds and all 700+ drives rendered unless.

As we packed up and got in the truck to leave we watched the suburban finally get un stuck. We were laughing and we felt sorry that they were stuck for about 2 hours while we we having un shooting only 100 yards away (if that).

but they didn’t even say hi when we did walk up to them when they first got stuck. what were we supposed to do when we didn’t have anything to get them un stuck and they didn’t even act friendly.

I wonder if I will feel bad for more than a day or so….

    A Perfect Saturday

The challenge to raise the bar for Liberals is set back in the 60’s.

I think this might be a good thing but a $.50 bullet might spare me the agony.

“If Cindy Sheehan, Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn and Danny Glover were all simultaneously lit up like torches, we’d probably have the troops home in a couple weeks,” continued the staffer. “I mean, I can’t promise anything– I’m just free-lancing here. But that sort of…demonstration of commitment…might get us to realize the error of our ways. I might be going out on a limb here, but a crispy Barbra Streisand might be worth a roll back of the tax cuts.  Hell, I’d marry a gay Hollywood producer and adopt several Pakistani refugees if you set Alec Baldwin ablaze.”

    We can only hope….
