Shooting day today
Today I wen shooting with a buddy. we had 500 GB worth of disks (at 6 GB each) to destroy.
Here are some pictures.
We set the old SUN disk up first.
Before we could start shooting we had stupid people get stuck in the sand behind us
We went over and talked to the people (This 2×4 suburban, and two low street cars) but they were pissy and didn’t even say hello or nothin so we went back to our shooting while they tried to dig out…
This is Mike (not me) shooting his SKS. (note the brass in the air.
I brought my dog to help him get used to the sounds. he was nervous at first but with some work I was able to shoot with him only 10 feet away.
After a while he was very comfortable.
We finished after about 500 rounds and all 700+ drives rendered unless.
As we packed up and got in the truck to leave we watched the suburban finally get un stuck. We were laughing and we felt sorry that they were stuck for about 2 hours while we we having un shooting only 100 yards away (if that).
but they didn’t even say hi when we did walk up to them when they first got stuck. what were we supposed to do when we didn’t have anything to get them un stuck and they didn’t even act friendly.
I wonder if I will feel bad for more than a day or so….

Sgt Pepper is so BIG now. And what a guy he turned out to be…LOL!!
You try to be helpful to idiOts like the Suburbanites and look where it gets yah! Heh. I can see me there- that would tick me off.

If it had been me stuck in the sand, I would have welcomed you with open arms..but then again, I wouldnt be stupid enough to be out in the back country without 4 wheel drive.
Looks like fun, I need to try that some day. Me and some co-workers have some old condemned fire extinguishers that are fully charged and we are going to take them into the desert to see what happens when you put a 7.62mm round through the gauge from 100 yards

Michael would you like another dog? I know a goldenpoodle who has been a BRAT all day here and may be homeless very soon (if he chews one more thing.)
