A friend sent this picture (link) to me and I thought I could stump most of the 10 readers I get in a week.
Can you name that tank?

    I don’t know a thing about tanks…hehe..but I sure would like to be in this thing, rolling over and under that MUD!!

    I sent you an email with my answer. I won’t reveal it but I will say this, if Raven wants to drive it like this then the hatch needs to be down or it will be like a toilet of crap flushing when the mud enters.

    If it is stuck there (I assume it is because a cable is attached to the back) it will provide 62,000 pounds of resistance when being recovered. Since they are moving it in the opposite direction of travel they can reduce that by 10% and if they can apply power to the tracks they can reduce it by another 40% so that would put them back tot he vehicle weight of 31,000 pounds.

    If they are pulling it out those guys are too close to the winch cable. They should be twice the length of the cable away.

    That is more than you wanted to know but I thought I would share.
