Marines should not be politically correct.

The Parents don’t need to accept the charity of the children’s toys. If they don’t like it they can say ‘No thank you’ and move on.

Toys for Tots rejects talking Jesus dolls

“We’re not naive,” he said. “We know most of these folks are celebrating Christmas, but there’s always a chance that giving them a doll citing Scripture could be inappropriate.”

Could be inappropriate? Since when do Marines walk on eggs?

La Roe countered that many other toys could be offensive.

“How can you control any toy that gets into the hands of a child?” he said. “What if a child gets a Bratz doll? What if the parent is totally offended? They see it teaches inappropriate ways to dress.”

Ogre and I are going to buy a few of these dolls and donate locally to Toys for tots. Marines make omelets, not poached eggs.

This is just silly. I think kids appreciate everything they are given at Christmas- and most of them are too young to be offended by religious overtures in the gifts. I’ll keep supporting the local TFT stuff because it does bring many smiles to little faces. BUT the PC bullshit does need to END.

Get ‘em Michael. I may try to do the same. I wonder where you’d find these dolls? I think it’d be another great thing for my children to do. Thanks.

[...] Flight Pundit says Marines should not be politically correct. I absolutely and whole-heartedly agree. Plus, he gave me another idea for something for which my children could contribute. [...]
