Hmm…Does the GOP not understand what is happening with it’s base??
The Republican National Committee, hit by a grass-roots donors’ rebellion over President Bush’s immigration policy, has fired all 65 of its telephone solicitors, Ralph Z. Hallow will report Friday in The Washington Times.
They FIRED ALL of the staff??
What’s going on here??
“The phone-bank employees were terminated,” RNC spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt wrote by e-mail in response to questions sent by The Times. “This was not an easy decision. The first and primary motivating factor was the state of the phone bank technology, which was outdated and difficult to maintain. The RNC was advised that we would soon need an entire new system to remain viable.”
Why not keep the folks on the payroll until the new systems are updated?
Is there any truth to this?
There has been a sharp decline in contributions from RNC phone solicitations, another fired staffer said, reporting that many former donors flatly refuse to give more money to the national party if Mr. Bush and the Senate Republicans insist on supporting what these angry contributors call “amnesty” for illegal aliens.
“Everyone donor in 50 states we reached has been angry, especially in the last month and a half, and for 99 percent of them immigration is the No. 1 issue,” said the former employee.
I’ll admit this: They called me and I told them WHERE TO STUFF their request for donations. Ahem…I also hung up on them. Why? Because the GOP has pissed me off with this Illegal Amnesty Bullshit, that’s why. And I immediately went over to Tancredo’s site and donated more cash to his campaign. Enough said.

I would never have guessed, there is a rising star in LA and he is a closed minded Democrap
NEW YORK — Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton has won the endorsement of Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, a rising star in national Democratic politics and one of the nation’s top Hispanic elected officials.
Mrs. Bill Clinton had help from Mr. Clinton
Clinton campaign officials have actively sought Villaraigosa’s backing, even enlisting former President Clinton recently to woo Villaraigosa over dinner at a tony New York steak house.
California is doomed to social programs taking all reason to work let alone own a business.
A popular figure in the nation’s second-largest city, analysts expect Villaraigosa to have a promising future in national politics or in statewide office in California. He is widely popular among Hispanic voters, who make up an increasingly large percentage of Democratic voters in California and many other states. In 2004, 21 percent of California voters were Hispanic, according to exit polls there. (emphasis mine)
hem, see a trend that is going nation wide….LaRazza at work…

When the (leftist) editors of the Denver Post call for Ward Churchill to be gone, we know Churchill’s time has come.
More than two years have passed since the waves of controversy first started lapping at Ward Churchill, the embattled University of Colorado professor. In that same time, other recognizable names tied to CU - Betsy Hoffman, Gary Barnett - have been relegated to history.
Yet Churchill remains.
That’s because the ethnic studies professor has been given the appropriate due process - and then some.
It’s never been easy to fire a tenured professor, which is good, but that time has come for Churchill.
The entire process is a waste of tax payers money. No where else do people get the opportunity to file grievances after grievance against the bosses, who have determined, many times, that you’re not a good employee. Colleges and universities are havens for the disgruntled and whacked out thinkers, the conspiracy theorists (AKA nutty professors) who pass off their own slanted imaginary ills as true fact.
“Professor Churchill’s conduct has clearly violated the University’s policies on academic freedom and is inimical to the University’s core academic mission,” Brown wrote in a 10-page letter to Patricia Hayes, chairwoman of CU’s governing Board of Regents. “The University cannot disregard allegations of serious research misconduct simply because the allegations were made against a professor whose comments have attracted a high degree of public attention.”
Churchill’s shoddy scholarship first came to light publicly after he gained notoriety for a controversial essay in which he likened some Sept. 11 victims to “little Eichmanns.”
Two very thorough peer reviews of his research and academic work found academic misconduct. The first investigatory group concluded that he intentionally falsified research, plagiarized and ghost-wrote articles that he later used as references to prop up his own research.
We had hoped Churchill would just go away after his disguise as a scholar was blown, but he has continued to appeal each ruling. CU’s committee on privilege and tenure recently split on whether to fire him. Two members advocated firing, but three supported suspension. However, the committee did agree that he engaged in research misconduct and that his conduct “falls below minimum standards of professional integrity.”
it should be noted that anyone who speaks the words Churchill did of the 9-11 victims WILL become a national embarrassment to the colleges and universities and other employers…and the scrutiny they receive will be well deserved. CU is no exception to this.
Free speech does come with responsibility…and sometimes this means one has to really consider what they wish to speak about. Ward Churchill made a decision, a choice. He didn’t like the reaction but he sure glowed in his hours of glory. The attention he got was very ego-fulfilling for him. Naturally people took an interest in his actual works, his writings and what not. That’s when people began to question the mans honesty…and integrity. People everywhere recognized the outright lies of Churchill’s works. This wasn’t and isn’t about free speech.
Ward Churchill just needs to go. To move on and suck his feathers and find some peace in a different environment. He does not need to continue to indoctrinate our youth with his brand of history. Now the governor of Colorado has even said it’s time for the fake Indian to go, too.

Well cry me a river of big fat tears. NOT.
Cindy Sheehan says she is resigning as the “face” of the American anti-war movement.
In a letter posted on a liberal website Monday, Sheehan complained about the smears and hatred directed at her by liberals since she renounced her ties to the Democratic Party.
“Being called an ‘attention whore’ and being told ‘good riddance’ are some of the more milder rebukes [sic],” Sheehan wrote in a long letter posted on the DailyKos blog.
“I have come to some heartbreaking conclusions this Memorial Day Morning,” Sheehan wrote.
Good riddance you stupid cow. Now go back to the pasture and take care of everything you have neglected these past three years. Hopefully you can find some real peace and hopefully your son will stop rolling in his grave.

This has gone on for too long. How much more time, effort and money is going to be put out for the one and only Ward Churchill, the freaky feather loving Professor of Ethnic Studies at Colorado University?
Citing “the good of the university,” CU President Hank Brown has recommended that embattled University of Colorado professor Ward Churchill be fired, although it remains an interim step in Churchill’s review.
Brown argued that Churchill’s work, which focuses on American Indians, showed “severe” and “deliberate” research misconduct that “seriously impacts the university’s academic reputation.”
If I were a student looking for higher education I wouldn’t go near CU…knowing it employs deceitful and totally whacked out professors like Churchill. I would want an education based on real and well documented fact, not fiction written to fill an agenda of hate.
And what is Churchill going to do? Take a wild guess.
Churchill, a tenured professor of ethnic studies who could not be reached for comment, told The Associated Press on Monday that if the regents follow through with Brown’s recommendation and dismiss him, he will sue in state or federal court.
For chrissake. Move on Ward. You’re popular, according to yourself. Surely you could get a teaching job anywhere, at any elite university in the country. Why bother continuing to cost the citizens of Colorado this expense? Do you think you’re worth it?
Most of your bosses don’t think so. The American people can differentiate a fraud from a free speecher claim. You fall under that fraudulent end of the spectrum…
Why did I waist my eyes watching this Pile of Crap

NEW YORK — Rosie O’Donnell will not be back on “The View,” ABC announced Friday, two days after she and co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck got into a huge political dust-up live on the talk show.
Some people say this is by and for the kids so we should not have an issue with this.
CONIFER, Colo. — The teacher who oversaw the production of a high school yearbook that depicted drug and alcohol use issued an apology Monday, saying it was “completely inappropriate.”
I heard some people say it was crazy people we upset
Her letter continued: “On p.13, page title is ‘Drug Addictions’: there are pictures of students smoking pot, using bong paraphernalia, pictures of alcohol and prescription drugs with associated stories of each. Each caption is written in 6 pt. font so anyone over 40 would have to get their magnifying glass to read, which I feel was strategic on their part so parents would miss it, but its there all the same ‘I smoke pot because it relaxes me, helps me deal with situations…there’s nothing wrong with it.’ says a student.”
“p.33, there are pictures of police officers with stories of ‘cops busting our parties’ and ‘law enforcement is a necessary evil’ depicting law enforcement as an annoyance only to be disregarded if you don’t get caught. I want our police officers to be respected for the heroes they are and this disgraces them and sends the wrong message.
This is what the Liberals are trying to do, promote drug and sex among the kids…

I don’t want McCain’t to move forward with any more of his crappy bills. he was involve in the screwup that tries to stop free speech. He is more of a liberal than a conservative. His McCain-Fingold is a disaster, just about every bill he is involved in sucks for Americans.
“[Expletive] you! I know more about this than anyone else in the room,” shouted McCain at Cornyn. McCain helped craft a bill in 2006 that passed the Senate but couldn’t be compromised with a House bill that was much tougher on illegal immigrants.
Now this pile of crap wants to drive the amnesty bill that will really screw over Americans…why is he still in the Senate?
And the jack-ass wants Americans to think it is not Amnesty,….BS
the worst jackass ever to hold the office of president ever is trying to change his legacy.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Former President Carter says President Bush’s administration is “the worst in history” in international relations, taking aim at the White House’s policy of pre-emptive war and its Middle East diplomacy.
The criticism from Carter, which a biographer says is unprecedented for the 39th president, also took aim at Bush’s environmental policies and the administration’s “quite disturbing” faith-based initiative funding.
But it will take a lot worse to match what this jack ass did.
Carter, who won a Nobel Peace Prize in 2002
I forgot that Billy Beer and his brother made such great international relations that he wouldn’t allow us to rescue the hostages in Iran, the ones he tries to appease every day.
Update: Like I said above.
“I think it’s sad that President Carter’s reckless personal criticism is out there,” Fratto told reporters. “I think it’s unfortunate. And I think he is proving to be increasingly irrelevant with these kinds of comments.”
The murderers of the Islam cult is offended
Newsradio 850 KOA understands that some of you may have been offended by remarks Gunny Bob made regarding Muslim immigrants to the United States. That was not the intention. 850 KOA believes in being fair and respectful while encouraging discussion and debate of complex issues

Because they believe all non religion of death followers should be killed.
You do not have the right not to be offended! get it!
LA wanted might be forced to release the whore before completing her time because of over crowding.
I just made an offer,” Arpaio said. “Instead of reducing her sentence, which I feel is wrong, why not bring her over here? We can incarcerate her here. She can do her time over here.”
But Sheriff Joe to the rescue…..
“Oh, I’d love to have her here,” Arpaio said. “Just another celebrity. Not that I’m a publicity hound, but I’d imagine if I had her in these tents there’d be (publicity).”
I like this…it gets hot as hell in tents in the Arizona Desert. Not that I was in a tent jail but it seemed like jail back then but we had beer on some nights.
