Civil Unions in NH
On this issue I lean towards the libertarian side of the get the government out of the house. Of the homosexual people I know they are mostly drama kings and queens. I would imagine the Civil Union Divorce rate will be higher than that of marriages. They are Americans and deserve to be treated as good as every other American out there. we will see how this falls our
CONCORD, N.H. - Gay couples in New Hampshire can start applying for many of the rights and responsibilities of marriage as early as January under a law Gov. John Lynch signed Thursday establishing civil unions.
“We in New Hampshire have had a long and proud tradition taking the lead in opposing discrimination,†Lynch said. “Today that tradition continues.â€
Couples who enter civil unions will have the same rights, responsibilities and obligations as married couples. Same-sex unions from other states also would be recognized if they were legal in the state where they were performed.
Question is, what will this do the the Free State Project?
