Drink Wine

Why I drink wine:

As Ben Franklin said, ‘In wine there is wisdom, in
beer there is freedom, in water there is bacteria’.

In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists
have demonstrated that if we drink 1 liter of water
each day, at the end of the year we would have
absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E.
coli) bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are
consuming 1 kilo of poop.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine &
beer (or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor)
because alcohol has to go through a purification
process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember: Water = Poop, Wine = Health

Therefore, it’s better to drink wine and talk stupid,
than to drink water and be full of shit. There is no
need to thank me for this valuable information: I’m
doing it as a public service.

    BWAHAH it’s true!!

    I drink beeah mostly…and Jack.

And, (Raven blushes a little) I BOIL my water by the gallons before I drink it.

Yep. I don’t waste money on bottled H20 cause IT contains all sorts of crap (pardon the pun) even though it’s supposedly been filtered and vetted. DON’T believe it. Your tap water is better…esp when boiled.

Oh how I have been wishing this past couple of weeks that we were at Cork and Cleaver on our 4th bottle of wine, like the good old days. I haven’t been to your sight for awhile, like you, been busy trying to care for my family and for my Dad. Now, I go home and see the case with a flag folded by some very young, very proud Marines and I think about how Proud he was to serve this country, how much he loved being a marine and his talks with you. I also think about the man he was, proud, honorable, an un-equalled husband and father who lived for his family. Michael, take every minute and make those memories, I don’t regret one moment of the time this past 2 years that we spent doing just that. I will never be able to explain it but the Saturday after thanksgiving, I asked my brother from Colorado to come home for one day and I decided to have Christmas early as a family. I had put up the tree for thanksgiving and decorated because it was Dads favorite holiday. We laughed, drank wine, sang songs and hugged a lot, the next morning, my Dad took a drastic change for the worse; he was gone 3 days later. So make those memories now, show those you love that you love them, laugh loud, and drink that WINE!!! I know he is looking down on me now with a glass in his hand! Proud to be a Marines daughter.

    I feel smarter already.

Now if we can just get rid of the miserable prohibitionists that have made driving after taking a sip of wine nearly a capital offense, we could drink a bit more often!
