A really Nice Airplane called a Piper Malibu lost its propeller in one of the hardest high mountain airports and the pilot made a safe landing back at the airport.

Pilot lands safely after propeller falls off Eight-mile glide complicated by oil on windshield

A pilot managed to land safely after the propeller fell off his plane and oil splattered the windshield.

Barry Cox had to glide eight miles and navigate without being able to see out of the windshield before landing smoothly at Aspen-Pitkin County Airport on Wednesday.

“(Cox) just did a tremendous job,” said the airport’s assistant aviation director, David Ulane. “Not only did he land without a propeller, he wasn’t able to see out the front. . . . It’s one of the more tremendous things I’ve seen.”

Cox, his daughter and two acquaintances were 10 minutes into a 110-mile flight to Denver International Airport in a single-engine Piper Malibu when oil splashed across the windshield and he heard a loud boom.

This is just an outstanding job by the pilot Barry Cox.

“Barry (Cox) was so calm about it,” said friend and passenger Stan Cheo, of Woody Creek. “He pulled off an amazing stunt. He’s an incredible pilot.”

Record Industry Goes After Personal Use

it is illegal for someone who has legally purchased a CD to transfer that music into his computer.

They reduced the quality and capabilities when the technology came out (deigned life) so that they can sell the same record/CD again. if they fixed that then Maybe I might agree.

And we can Time shift our music.

But lawyers for consumers point to a series of court rulings over the last few decades that found no violation of copyright law in the use of VCRs and other devices to time-shift TV programs; that is, to make personal copies for the purpose of making portable a legally obtained recording.

Looking at the goings on the the straw polls and the lack of any good strong candidate for the republican nomination I make this simple small prediction:

Billary Clinton  has raised a total raised of $90,935,788 with $2.3 million of debt

Barack Hussan Obama has a total raised of $80,256,427 with $1.4 million of debt

I see both of these as being a disaster for America over all and short lived (if elected).

Fake Conservatives

Mitt has a total raised of $62,829,069 with $17.3 million of debt

Rudy has raised on $47,253,521 and only borrowed $169 k of debt

John McCaint has raised $32,124,785 with $1.7 million in debt

Fred has only Raised $12,828,111 with $678k in debt

The other candidates are not even on the board with and that pisses me off.

I like Duncan Hunter(($1.8m)  & Ron Paul ($8.2m) but think there is no one in this group that can or will will against the two socialists.

The biggest issue I see with Mitt is he is a liberal in republican clothing and he is not even conservative in his campaign dollars…already in debt.

With this disastrous field we need to focus on getting a majority back in the house and increasing the ability to stop the socialists before they can destroy America.

Maybe we will be able to display how bad socialism really is if Billary really does win..will we last 4 years? Lord Help us…
