Why Colorado is where I live

The fact that I grew up here is besides the point and I am non-biased like the Dan Rather….

I went snowmobiling this weekend in Grand Lake. My cabin is covered with snow…(couldn’t shovel it off because of the temperature (solid ICE under the snow).

On the trails to the climbing hills we almost ran into this cow and calf moose…twice over 10 miles apart.

We got off our sleds and away from the trail so they could pass by us as there were other sleds coming from the other side animals.

The Cow watching us! We saw her twice this day, I whish we could help her into the National Park but they were a long ways away. all we could do is get away from her and let them pass.

I really do love Colorado and seeing the Moose population growing.

Awe!! Look at this gorgeous place! That’s a really nice “cabin”, LOL- much bigger than my whole house. We have a lot of ice up here too- the snowbanks are like concrete. I have to get up on my roof every other day to get the snow and ice off…a lot of work!

Damn Michael…you’re making me jealous with the scenery and sights. I saw a moose last fall in my back yard and then one on the road…but haven’t seen any since.

The snow…and snowmobiles…I can smell it and you know what that does to me.
    **thud**

I bet you had a great time! Isn’t there a song about wishing you were here? Well I wish I were there.
