A New Ice Age is coming

National Post has a store on the snow cover world wide

Snow cover over North America and much of Siberia, Mongolia and China is greater than at any time since 1966.

Is this a 40 year cycle?

And remember the Arctic Sea ice? The ice we were told so hysterically last fall had melted to its “lowest levels on record? Never mind that those records only date back as far as 1972 and that there is anthropological and geological evidence of much greater melts in the past.

The ice is back.

that last two parts are the important ones…it has happened before and it will happen again. I just want to know when the wacko’s start calling for another ice age?

Well no one asks the fishermen and cruise ship captains…

Remember back in the old days of the ocean liners- when the only way to cross was on a boat/ship…the TransAtlantic routes were laden with huge ice bergs. After the Titanic sank, they moved these routes further south to avoid the bergs.
They moved them a couple times. In the past 50 years the routes have been moved back up- because they take less time to go way north and then head south to Boston and NY ports. And the use of GPS and other tech spots bergs way ahead of any collision…Sightings of ice bergs have decreased twentyfold over these years.

Commercial fishermen go way out- to the high seas of the North Atlantic and don’t run into bergs. They go further north than Labrador-New Foundland where Titanic Canyon is located- the vast area of ocean where ice bergs used to be frequently spotted.

Course the Climahysterics will tell us the ocean waters are warmer and therefore the ice melts faster. That, I can assure them, is not true. The Atlantic ocean is cooler…much colder than it used to be in my lifetime even.
