I had a friend last night talking to me about going vegan because a mutual friend of ours bought some calves to raise for the meat. I *think* I talked her out of it, but the conversation was ridiculous and hilarious all at the same time. She insisted that she could eat carrots and wine while being a vegan. I insisted that she was not a drunken rabbit. Not to mention the crap you have to do to ensure that you are truly being a "vegan." Yeah right. Four hours in the grocery store looking at labels?
