The Pink Menopausal Cows of Berkistan

Out in Berkistan CA the city council has issued a clarification of their recent demand that the USMC leave the city grounds.

BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) - City council members who were criticized for telling Marine recruiters they don’t belong here have moderated their position, saying they oppose the Iraq war but support the troops.

The Berkeley City Council voted two weeks ago to send a letter to a downtown recruitment station advising the Marines they were not welcome.

After a marathon session that stretched into early Wednesday, the council decided against sending the letter, saying it recognizes recruiters’ right to be in Berkeley. The council members say they still strongly oppose the war and the recruitment of young people, but “deeply respect and support” the men and women of the armed forces.

Some on the council had pushed for issuing an apology. Others rejected that, saying they just wanted to clarify their position.

I have yet to see any letters telling the Code Pink Menopause Cows they are not welcome either. Oh wait…old hags wearing pink aren’t a part of the USMC…I stand corrected. The harassment of young people who wish to join the Military is Code Pink’s motto, the noisy protests and embarrassing tactics are A OKAY for Berkistan, we know. The quiet and orderly office a USMC recruiting officer is a royal taboo.

Code Pink for Peace, headed by Castro-loving neo-communist and perennial anti-U.S. activist Medea Benjamin, orchestrates the direct-action segment of the counter recruitment movement with the Ruckus Society, an off-shoot of the eco-terrorism group Earth First!

Benjamin’s history with the Ruckus Society goes back to the late 1990s when she helped it plan and execute the violent riots that occurred during the 1999 World Trade Organization (WTO) meeting in Seattle, Washington. As part of Code Pink’s counter-recruitment drive Benjamin has enlisted the Ruckus Society to provide training camps for potential 18-22 year old counter-recruiters.

Ruckus Society training camps provide activists with the tools to organize street protests, shut down recruitment offices and avoid arrest. Those attending the camps are exposed to a constant barrage of anti- capitalist, anti-war, anti-U.S. propaganda. Ruckus also advertises its training camps through its front group, Not Your Soldier, a counter-recruitment organization whose website marquee features an angry looking young man reading a book titled, “History of U.S. Imperialism.”

Freedom. It’s what America is about. When the Pink Menopausal Cows scream and shout, people like me wonder just WHAT is being accomplished. A city like Berkistan is forever stained with the antics of it’s aged hippies and pot smoking citizens…I would be to shamed to live there. Really- are these anti American anti war groups doing any good? No. They are a huge waste of time and money. Maybe the goal is to keep a national spotlight upon the region? It’s a negative light that’s for sure.

Bless the normal women who must reside out there as well. We need to keep them in our minds and not allow the Pink Cows to tarnish them.

Dream Act Nightmare Continues

Amnesty is sneaking up again.

Michelle Malkin:

Fresh off the S-CHIP debacle and their FISA retreat, the Dems look to the illegal alien tuition subsidy legislation known as the DREAM Act for redemption.

Time to take some action folks!

(October 22) By invoking Senate Rule XIV on S. 2205, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has paved the way for prompt (and ill-advised) floor action on the measure, Assistant Majority Leader Dick Durbin’s (D-Ill.) new stand-alone DREAM Act amnesty bill. The procedural move, made late last week, means that the DREAM Act may be brought to the Senate floor as early as Tuesday (October 23) without ever having been considered in committee.

S. 2205, which is cosponsored by long-tenured Republicans Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) and Dick Lugar (R-Ind.), is, essentially, the same amnesty offered up for consideration by Durbin as an amendment (SA 2919) to H.R. 1585, the Defense Department (DoD) authorization bill for fiscal year 2008. The Senate passed that bill October 1 without ever taking up the DREAM Act amendment or amendments concerning increased worker importation.

In this most recent iteration, the DREAM Act authorizes DHS to cancel removal for, or adjust to lawful permanent resident status (in other words, grant amnesty to), an alien who is inadmissible or deportable in cases where the alien demonstrated that he/she:

* has maintained continuous presence in the United States for five years and was not yet 16 years old upon initial entry, but is no older than 30 years of age;
* is of “good moral character” and is not inadmissible or deportable on certain criminal grounds or on the basis of being a risk to national security; and
* has been admitted to an institution of higher education, has attained a high school diploma, or has obtained a GED in the United States.

This ill-conceived proposal, which would grant amnesty to illegal aliens who satisfy these criteria as of enactment, also would be a rolling amnesty drawing more illegal aliens here in the future to apply for amnesty.

First off, we all know these illegals are NOT of good moral character- their mere presence here in the US shows us they have NO MORALS. Breaking laws is unethical…AND don’t be fooled by this rhetoric sounding as though it’s for the children. Bullshit. This faulty legislation is amnesty for all illegal immigrants and those who wish to USE the children in the game.

This latter revision would narrow, but would not close, a gaping loophole in this amnesty because any illegal alien up to age 30 can still walk into any U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office, declare that he is eligible, and be granted amnesty with minimal documentation of eligibility. That 30-year-old could claim that he illegally entered the United States when he was 15, but there is no requirement that the alien prove that he entered the United States at the claimed time by providing particular documents. The proposal would merely require him to “demonstrate” that he is eligible, which in practice could mean simply making a sworn statement to that effect. Thus, it would be an invitation for just about every illegal alien 30 and under to fraudulently claim the amnesty.

The Lemoncrats (TM) are trying to sneak this into vote as soon as tomorrow. We must counter this with phone calls to our elected reps ASAP.

Capitol switchboard - 202-224-3121.
NOW. And first thing in the morning. Let them know how you feel.

Defeat Deserves a Chance

So the Lemoncrats are once again showing us they prefer defeat over victory. I guess this shouldn’t surprise anyone; after all- money spent on wars and national defense are monies wasted.

WASHINGTON - Democrats are not expected to take up President Bush’s war spending request until November, giving them time to calculate their next move and see if Republican support for his policies deteriorates.

Yea, calculate and connive and bicker and back stab (kind of like little kids eh?)…

“Just because this administration wears blinders, we cannot afford the limitations of their shortsighted world view,” said Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., a Vietnam veteran and prominent war critic.

You know every time Murtha has spoken lately and made these threats, nothing seems to come of them. I wonder why that is? Is he as useless as he should be now a days? Has he worn out his favorable image?

“There’s a lot of anger out there,” Murtha told reporters Monday at the National Press Club. “A lot of people are very unhappy with the Democrats because we haven’t been able to get anything done.”

In February, Bush requested $147 billion for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in budget year 2008, which begins Oct. 1. As early as this week, Bush is expected to ask for another $40 billion to $50 billion.

Murtha, who chairs the House committee that oversees military spending, estimated Congress is likely to ignore the request until November.

Congress could pass a stopgap funding measure that would include money for the war.

I doubt Congress will stop funding. To do so would prove to the American people, for and against this war, that the lives of our troops mean nothing. Murtha lives in his own little world; he has yet to come up with any proposal that his boss Cruella DeVille-Pelosi has taken seriously. I suspect he’s feeling a little left out of the game right now, so he has to flap his dumbo mouth to get some attention. It sickens me to no end to know that this NON Marine would cut off the lifeline to his NON brothers who are fighting in a war theater right now. May Marines have mercy upon Murtha when they all meet in their after life.

I Now Renounce My American Citizenship

I have given up the fight.

America is gone. That’s right. Gone.

When a government makes legal the very illegal people and presence of such people- we have lost one of our most valued and honored traits.

I Now renounce My American Citizenship.
Because it means NOTHING anymore.

I am going to become a law breaker. I will rob banks and steal people’s identities. I’m going to join a gang. I’m going to drive with without a license, and drive drunk and perhaps kill people. I’m going to lie, cheat and steal in as many areas as I can to get by in life. And you can bet I am dropping my insurances and will use the ER’s for all my medical needs- and if a time comes when I need medical care as in a hospitalization, I might take a bed from some stupid American who needs it more than I do..but because I am of a special class I won’t be kicked out of that bed.

I will work…at the Swift meat plants in Colorado and earn a healthy 5.75/hr- not nearly enough to support me and my illegal habits BUT this is America. I don’t have an incentive to better myself or my job. Cause the government has special programs JUST FOR ME. I can buy all the food I need with a special food stamp program designed for ME, I can get credit cards and bank accounts and loans…and never really have to pay them back. I will walk by those dumb Americans who USED to work for Swift but who demanded to be paid 12 bucks an hour..those Americans who just asked for too much. The cash I earn at my job will pay for the illegal drugs I will use every day. Speaking of illegal drugs, whats illegal anymore anyway?

I will go out and find a different guy every yr for the next 4 or 5 yrs and pop out babies left and right, JUST so I can collect welfare designated JUST for me. And the anchor babies, which is really the only reason I will pop em out. My anchor babies will receive a fair and just education, in the language and customs of my newly minted Hispanic origin…and we won’t have to pay a red penny for this education. College is in reach for the children too- free of course or at highly reduced tuition entitlements.

Just do do my part to keep the American dream alive you know. THAT dream of entering the great bright city on the hill to collect freebies and welfare and of course, to steal jobs those rich and snooty Americans think they deserve.

Heh-screw all you Americans.

THIS IS MY COUNTRY NOW!

Who Am I??
An illegal parasite. Welcomed with open warm arms by the Government of the United States of America.

Cindy’s Left the Left…GOOD RIDDANCE

Well cry me a river of big fat tears. NOT.

Cindy Sheehan says she is resigning as the “face” of the American anti-war movement.

In a letter posted on a liberal website Monday, Sheehan complained about the smears and hatred directed at her by liberals since she renounced her ties to the Democratic Party.

“Being called an ‘attention whore’ and being told ‘good riddance’ are some of the more milder rebukes [sic],” Sheehan wrote in a long letter posted on the DailyKos blog.

“I have come to some heartbreaking conclusions this Memorial Day Morning,” Sheehan wrote.

Good riddance you stupid cow. Now go back to the pasture and take care of everything you have neglected these past three years. Hopefully you can find some real peace and hopefully your son will stop rolling in his grave.

Part Two of the Jean Francois Kerrie/Swift Boat Saga

Now why doesn’t this surprise anyone???

Democrats opposed to President Bush’s nomination of Sam Fox as the new U.S. ambassador to Belgium posed a new challenge Thursday, charging that the fact Fox will serve without pay makes him a ‘volunteer,’ and that the government cannot accept his unpaid services.

Oh really?? What about John Bolton? He was an unpaid Ambassador to the UN for over 2 years and the Lemoncraps didn’t find this excuse back then. How come? Because Bolton wasn’t involved with the Swift Boat stuff…

Democrats are vehemently against the appointment and are investigating a new twist in the former Swiftboat Veterans for Truth contributor’s appointment.

It is possible Fox might now be, as a “volunteer”, in violation of another U.S. law, Democrats charge, in his new position as an ambassador.

In a letter sent today, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Democrats Chris Dodd, John Kerry and Bob Casey ask the General Accounting Office, the nonpartisan watchdog arm of Congress, to expedite an investigation into a conflict between competing U.S. codes that could, if resolved as Democrats hope, leave Fox without a job.

Lemoncraps are vehemently against anyone President Bush appoints for ANY JOB. Period. And John Kerry needs to be a MAN about this. GET OVER IT. He hangs on to grudges more than any man I have ever heard of. What a whinebag wussypuss.

In some instances, political appointees can serve without a salary if they agree in advance they have no future claim to one, but U.S. law also seems to say that those with salaries fixed in law (ambassadors have a fixed rate of pay set in the Foreign Service Act of 1980) cannot serve voluntarily, according to the Democrats’ analysis.

I think they’re analysis is OFF just a little. But watch. The word of the Lemons will become the law of the land…as always they twist it and turn it and knot it all up into something no one can make sense of. Sheesh.

And we pay these idiOts to do this.

and Johnny wants…

Awe…Little Johnny wants special treatment. Hope he enjoys how it feels to WANT.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - The lawyer and parents of American-born Taliban soldier John Walker Lindh asked President Bush on Wednesday to commute his 20-year prison term, citing the case of an Australian man who was sentenced to less than a year for aiding terrorism.

Lindh, 26, was captured in Afghanistan in November 2001 by American forces sent to topple the Taliban after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. He was charged with conspiring to kill Americans and support terrorists but pleaded guilty to lesser offenses, including carrying weapons against U.S. forces.

The Aussie received a lesser sentence because he’s going home…where he will face a LONG prison term. Probably his entire life.

“It is a question of proportionality. It is a question of fairness, and it is a question of the religious experience John Walker Lindh had,” attorney James Brosnahan said. “And it was not in any way directed at the United States.”

Life ain’t fair Johnny. You made choices. Your hands are covered with the blood of American soldiers who were killed at the Afghan prison where you were found. I think you’re lucky little Johnny…If I were the person making the decision, I would never give you back any freedom. You gave that up when you converted to Islam, and fought with our enemies against OUR soldiers.

Congress will fund our troops

The Lemoncrats (TM) doing damage control.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Democratic leaders backed away from aggressive plans to limit President Bush’s war authority, the latest sign of divisions within their ranks over how to proceed.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said Monday he wanted to delay votes on a measure that would repeal the 2002 war authorization and narrow the mission in Iraq.

Senior Democrats who drafted the proposal, including Sens. Joseph Biden of Delaware and Carl Levin of Michigan, had sought swift action on it as early as this week, when the Senate takes up a measure to enact the recommendations of the bipartisan Sept. 11 commission.

Reid, who will huddle with Democrats Tuesday to discuss whether to postpone the Iraq debate, cited pressure from victims’ families for quick action on the Sept. 11 bill as the reason for doing so.

“Iraq is going to be there - it’s just a question of when we get back to it,” Reid said, predicting it would be “days, not weeks” before the Senate returned to the issue. The war reauthorization legislation also appears to lack the 60 votes it would need to pass the Senate.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., meanwhile, said she doesn’t support tying war funding to strict training and readiness targets for U.S. troops.

The comments distanced her from Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., who has said he wants to use Congress’ spending power to force a change in policy in Iraq, by setting strict conditions on war funding.

Pelosi said she supports holding the administration to training and readiness targets, but added: “I don’t see them as conditions to our funding. Let me be very clear: Congress will fund our troops.”

I’m going to hold them to this. Cruella Pelosi has made a statement all Americans must remember.

A priceless scene I so wish to watch: Murtha’s cowardly face right about now. Bet he’s blowing some hot air off right about now.

The Dumbo Quagmire

Has John Dumbo Murtha lost his ability to influence his own party? Has the old coot managed to show, in bright colors, just how torn apart the Lemoncrats (TM) really are? It appears that way.

The plan was bold: By tying President Bush’s $100 billion war request to strict standards of troop safety and readiness, Democrats believed they could grab hold of Iraq war policy while forcing Republicans to defend sending troops into battle without the necessary training or equipment.

But a botched launch by the plan’s author, Rep. John P. Murtha (Pa.), has united Republicans and divided Democrats, sending the latter back to the drawing board just a week before scheduled legislative action, a score of House Democratic lawmakers said last week.

Members of both parties got wind of Black Jack’s latest attempt to cut and run, to leave the troops he so adamently claims to love and defend- without the tools they need to fight the battles they face. Dumbo Murtha is a traitor to the American military and to the American people. And it’s coming back full force at him.

“If this is going to be legislation that’s crafted in such a way that holds back resources from our troops, that is a non-starter, an absolute non-starter,” declared Rep. Jim Matheson (Utah), a leader of the conservative Blue Dog Democrats.

Murtha’s credentials as a Marine combat veteran, a critic of the war and close ally of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) were supposed to make him an unassailable spokesman for Democratic war policy. Instead, he has become a lightning rod for criticism from Republicans and members of his own party.

Lightening rod is a polite term. When members of his own party question the motive and ethics of Dumbo’s latest moonbat driven proposals, it says much. Of course Republicans went wild over the sneaky underhanded antics employed here- we’re supposed to do that…our job is to watch for this stuff and expose it.

The story of Murtha’s star-crossed plan illustrates the Democratic Party’s deep divisions over the Iraq war and how the new House majority has yet to establish firm control over Congress. From the beginning, Murtha acted on his own to craft a complicated legislative strategy on the war, without consulting fellow Democrats. When he chose to roll out the details on a liberal, antiwar Web site on Feb. 15, he caught even Pelosi by surprise while infuriating Democrats from conservative districts.

Then for an entire week, as members of Congress returned home for a recess, Murtha refused to speak further. Democratic leaders failed to step into the vacuum, and Republicans relentlessly attacked a plan they called a strategy to slowly bleed the war of troops and funds. By the end of the recess, Murtha’s once promising strategy was in tatters.

Yes it was and still is in tatters; because MOST people were shocked and PISSED off about it. Further, this event showed the American people just how rotten the lemons really are when it comes to all things military and war like. Dumbo Murtha shut up cause he was TOLD TO BE QUIET. Cruella Pelosi cracked her whip. There is no other reason.

Murtha, 74, the powerful chairman of the House Appropriations subcommittee on defense, still holds a unique position on war policy, stemming from his roots as a veteran, his close ties to the uniformed military and his long-standing alliance with Pelosi. When he first publicly called for ending the war in 2005, he commanded the attention the party’s left and right wings.

The strategy he would craft was designed to calm the nerves of the party’s conservatives by fully funding the war, while placating the antiwar left by attaching so many strings to those funds that the president would not be able to deploy all the 21,500 additional combat troops he wanted.

To be sent to battle, troops would have to have had a year’s rest between combat tours. Soldiers in Iraq could not have their tours extended beyond a year there. And the Pentagon’s “stop-loss” policy, which prevents some officers from leaving the military when their service obligations are up, would end. Troops would have to be trained in counterinsurgency and urban warfare and be sent overseas with the equipment they used in training.

I really hope this non plan of a plan is DEAD because many troops will be if this becomes law. Dumbo KNOWS this and it sickens me that he would do this to the military. It also sickens me that ANY member of the House, Republican and Lemoncrat, would endorse this.

Pelosi endorsed the plan in concept but never the details. The plan surfaced Feb. 15 in an unorthodox Murtha appearance on MoveCongress.org, an antiwar Web site affiliated with the liberal activists of MoveOn.org.

It came the day before the House voted on a nonbinding resolution opposing Bush’s additional troop deployments that Democratic leaders had been touting as a major rebuke. Murtha dismissed that vote as he promoted his coming plans regarding the war spending bill. “This vote will be the most important vote in changing the direction on this war,” he said of his proposal. “This vote will limit the options of the president and should stop the surge.”

To many Democrats, that was not only impolitic, it was disloyal.

Why the Lemoncrats feel such a NEED to pacify the likes of the MoveOn people is beyond me…these people are anti-American, not just anti war. They share beds with ANSWER- the pro-communinst activists. Do the Lemoncrats want to be associated with these people? Nevermind basing legislation upon the warped and very small numbers of people these thug groups represent…no wonder the Lemoncrats cannot do the right thing. They’re hanging with the wrong crowd! And Boss Cruella has proven she is not capable of holding her position of power. She’s not on top of things; she doesn’t have command. Her boy toy Dumbo Murtha is pushing her around.

Even after that Web appearance, some senior Democratic aides say Murtha might well have been able to save his plan if he had quickly laid it out before the Democratic caucus and marshaled Democratic leaders behind a defense. Instead, the House recessed for a week, Murtha disappeared from the media, and Democratic leaders were silent, saying they could not discuss Iraq legislation because no real plan existed.

Sabotage and surrender is not a plan. It’s a strategy. And it’s often the very backbone of these Lemoncrats like Murtha, who are too dumb to come up with anything more viable. He’s a thug. A stupid one at that…and it’s showing now. Just listening to him one gets the impression of the level of education and expertise he (does not) have. To give him the power he has is dangerous to America. I’m thinking he needs to removed from his high chair and placed back in the play pen.

In the face of an unanswered Republican assault, the Democratic rank-and-file cracked — on the left and the right.

“While we’re all for troop readiness, we’re all for them having all the equipment they want,” Matheson, the Utah Democrat, said, “I’d be very concerned about doing anything that would hamstring resources and commanders on the ground.”

Indeed, Matheson and other Blue Dogs said the Democrats should concentrate on oversight hearings on Iraq policy, while refraining from binding legislation on the war.

They can’t have it both ways. BUT they cannot cut the tools our soldiers and Marines MUST have while they are at war; and the war is real, it’s live, it’s happening. Whether people agree with the merit of this war isn’t up for debate anymore (although some think it is). Now, we have a duty to see the mission in Iraq through- and stand with our military and support them. I think the Lemoncrats are dealing themselves a very sore loser when they ponder ideas of ending this support with these sneaky and unethical deeds and deals being handed by Dumbo Murtha. He needs to GO. Nancy Pelosi needs to cut and run from Murtha and fast. Question is: Does she have the balls to do this?

Put America back the way it was before the Republicans ruined it

The Democrats have decided to seek out help from people to set their agenda. Senator Dick Durbin has blogged and is seeking feedback on issues.

As we begin the new year, we herald the beginning of a new chapter in our nation’s history. In November, Americans from every corner of our country sent a message of change to Washington. America restored Democratic leadership to the House and Senate, and this change of leadership couldn’t come at a more critical time for our country.

Today, a new Democratic Congress is working to make America’s hopes for a better tomorrow a reality. Here in the Senate, much like Speaker Pelosi’s 100-hour plan in the House, our Democratic caucus has already unveiled an ambitious agenda to provide a new direction for America. But there is a lot of work to be done — so today I’m asking for your input.

Sounds fair enough huh?? This is democracy in action.

Some smart and intelligent people stood up to the plate here, to assist Mr. Durbin with ideas and suggestions:

We want you to treat the President the way you would if the Congress were the peoples architect, and the President the contractor, and this contractor then ripped up said architects plans and redesigned the work on the back of an envelope and failed to perform the work in a workmanlike manner, and had huge cost overuns and kickbacks…We expect he would be fired, sued, tried, imprisoned and forced to make restitution.

Get rid of the Patriot Act, the Warrantless Surveillance, all this talk about terrorism and al Qaeda, used to generate a war that trades blood for oil in Iraq and Somalia.

Put America back the way it was before the Republicans ruined it.

And this brilliant tidbit:

Immigration is a faux problem made up by Republicans to win elections. We spend more on our military than every other country in the world combined. It doesn’t need to be rebuilt, it needs to be audited.

People want to make sure certain regions of the country are not ignored:

And I’d really like a program developed whereby the Gulf Coast becomes a magnet region for not only the rebuild that should be much better managed so that small business people and not just big corporations get government help, but also utilizes renewable energy sources as part of the new infrastructure we have to build anyway - it could make the Gulf Coast our gold coast in less than a decade.

Others are concerned with health care:

The problem isn’t in the Bankruptcy bill (which was an abomination), but in a medical system that bankrupts those who need it most. Give us decent health coverage. Assist those wiped out by disasters. Fixing the bankruptcy ill to help people who can’t afford their medical care, or those hit by natural disasters — that’s putting a band-aid on a huge, gaping wound.

And of course, the environment:

Yes, I’m furious about the loss of our Democracy, but in the long run if we don’t act fast on global warming we are all dead as a species. America produces 25% of CO2. Per the BBC the Stern Report (sorry no linky pls google it) estimates a worldwide economic hit alone of 20% if we dont act fast. European nations are considering carbontaxing non compliers like us and China.

Had enough yet? The ideas and suggestions left in the comments section of blogs like Daily Kos, remind me of elementary school.
Lots of whining, complaining, endless chatter and buzzing, off topic conversations and little focus…in other words, a leader-less place like Daily Kos seems to attract those who are incapable of leading this country. These KosKids can be excused for their utter blindness to the threats of the world; their age and inexperience dooms them to be typical liberal minded youths.

Mr. Durbin, and his co-horts in the Senate, the Democrats, don’t act much older or more mature than the KosKids. They have proven, over time, that they have never grown up from their own days of youth and inexperience. As of this writing, there are over 700 comments in response to Mr. Durbin’s appeal. NOT A ONE OF THEM offers any solution. VERY FEW OF THEM make sense.
And they’re all extremely anti-America.

Just like all Democrats.

Reading Daily Kos is like being in a sweltering hot room full of fleas and flies that are constantly buzzing and biting. It saddens me to know these are Americans; it scares me to know these are our future leaders (perhaps). I really hope they grow up and soon. But I fear they won’t with idols like Mr. Durbin and John Kerry and Howard Dean and Billary Clinton- role models to these brats. Somehow, the liberal establishment has succeeded in creating another generation of totally misfit people.

Big Dog has a post about this too!! And some wizardly wisdom as well!!

And Kender has a couple points to make to about this Kos Kindergarten bulloney…

Illegals Entitled to SS Benefits: Ours, Not Theirs

What in fuck is this shit???

An agreement the Bush administration reached with Mexico on Social Security benefits would allow illegal aliens granted amnesty in the future to claim credit for the time they worked illegally.

An agreement? With Mexico?? ’splain this to me someone…

The deal was reached in 2004 but never released publicly because it hasn’t been submitted to Congress. The TREA Senior Citizens League, a Social Security advocacy group, recently obtained the document through a Freedom of Information Act, and said it confirms the group’s worst fears.

Uh huh…

“To get Social Security benefits, you do have to be legally in the United States. This agreement does not address in any way immigration, immigration laws or override current law,” he said, adding that a 2004 law, the Social Security Protection Act, prevents illegal aliens from getting benefits.

But the seniors group said the 2004 law also states that if those aliens later get legal status — through an amnesty or some sort of legalization plan such as the one President Bush and the Senate tried to enact last year — they would be able to collect the benefits based on their time as illegal workers.

In other words, the wetbacks who are here now, stealing jobs Americans were doing, jobs Americans WILL do, are getting paid under the table and not paying into our SS system…BUT they will receive SS benefits when they retire- at which time we will have granted them all amnesty.

O.M.G. This is insane. Totally. Is this why we work now? To pay for the future and retirement of those who are criminals, those whose very presence here is illegal?? Give me a fucking break. The US is going to hell faster than a kettle of Mexican shit.

McCain Sucks (will FEC agents come after me now?)

McCain should not try to run for President

If you want to be president in the information age, it’s probably not a good idea to get the blogosphere on your bad side. Sen. John McCain, an Arizona Republican who ran unsuccessfully for president in 2000, apparently has not grasped that basic rule of thumb yet.

McCain is a Liberal and all of my liberal friends (I don’t understand them) think he would be a good Republican President. They think this because he is a liberal.

This is too difficult

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has come up with a new test immigrants can chose to take -it’s a pilot program right now.

Immigrant rights groups are concerned the test is too hard.

One of the questions immigrants might be asked is this:
“What country is on the southern border of the United States?”

Draining the Swamp

USA Today tells Nancy to keep her house clean, and it gives her advice:

To-do list

If Pelosi is serious about “draining the swamp,” here are 10 practices that would have to end:

•Free vacations. Prohibit travel for members and their family and staff paid by outside groups, including not-for-profit organizations.

•Playing the market. Bar members from legislating in areas where they have financial interests by closing a loophole in the definition of “outside income,” which excludes investments and stocks. Better yet, require the use of blind trusts by members (already used by executive and judicial officers).

•Quid pro quo deals. End the practice of receiving windfall private deals from partners, who then receive generous government contracts. Require recusal from any matter in which a business partner has a direct financial interest.

•Self-policing. Create an independent office of ethics in which non-members investigate and rule on allegations of unethical conduct.

•Misuse of campaign funds. Prohibit the use of such funds for any purpose other than direct campaign costs for the original recipient, barring the transfer of funds to other candidates.

•Family lobbyists. Bar members from any official contact with family members who are employed as lobbyists and require recusal from any committee with jurisdiction over issues on which a spouse or a child is a lobbyist. Enact an ethics principle that expressly condemns the employment of spouses or children as lobbyists as harmful to the institution.

•Family businesses. Strengthen nepotism rules, including a ban on the hiring of spouses and family as campaign staff or contractors.

•Gifts. Change the scope of prohibited gifts to include the use of private jets by members and catered food for members or staff. Also require the valuation of gifts by an independent ethics committee.

•Club privileges. End all special access to the floor and other areas for former members that allows them free access as lobbyists.

•Earmarks. The primary currency for corrupt practices and pork barrel projects remains earmarks — special pet projects inserted into budgets outside of the usual competitive bidding and appropriations processes. Democrats have proposed changes but not the most obvious: Ban earmarks.
