Operation Code Pinko

Now that my site is up I am also posting this here. Origanly posted at GM’s site while he was out for sergery. Get Well Soon my friend.
FightOn!

On Saturday I participated in a protest the protesters at the Biltmore Fashion Mall in Phoenix AZ.
The Leftist group Code Pink arranged a protest against President Bush, and the war, and Oil prices, and big SUV’s, and Education, and Judge Alito, and, and, and, Every thing else American. Most of all I could tell that people really only hated President Bush, Several people really believed that they were being spied on by the government OK, earth to the leftist, earth to the leftist. No one cares what you say unless you talk to Al-Qaeda

This first picture is of very OLD lady that couldn’t come up with an argument other than we were stupid right wingers. Real nice OLD lady…hehe the lady in black only made personal attacks….these people are not capable of dialog.

Pulling success from failure

Protest Warrior operation failure.

I failed in making this weekends Protest Warrior support the troops operation the success that I had hoped for. It is the Air Force Base’s fault! LOL of the 10 responses I had only Fuzzybear Lioness showed up. the front gate was locked up and the side gates we in use. This base is tough because it has so many entry/exit points and with the main gate closed it is hard to figure out what gate is used and by who.

So grabbing success from the grip of defeat, We had a great conversation sitting in McDonalds. Fuzzybear Lioness (FbL) had divulged her deepest secretes to me all while turning a large piece of paper into hundreds of small tiny pieces…(ha ha)

The conversation was great dealing will many of the issues of this world (I think we solved several big issues if people would just listen to us) and we laughed and didn’t cry (really) and talked and talked.

I enjoyed the meeting FbL greatly and now I have some more homework to do by bugging some of my hardware companies (HP, IBM) for Project Valour IT. It is amazing the people you meet on line.

Oh Shit, FbL got a post up before I did…damn busy days and drinking nights.

We Support the troops and their mission

Stand Up to the Anti-Military Crowd!
It’s the continuation of the “You Don’t Speak for Me, Cindy” Tour!!! Move America Forward will be leading a bus tour across the nation from California to Washington, D.C. to rally Americans to stand united behind our troops and their mission. The bus tour begins in San Francisco on Monday, September 19th and ends in Washington D.C. at a giant pro-troop rally on Sunday, September 25th.

Starting the finale in DC on Sunday Sept 25th! I think we need to do the same in Phoenix at Luke Air Force Base.
I have put in a request at Protest Warriors for the Phoenix Chapter.
Once the mission is approved I will post more information.

Take Back the Corner III (Thank you for your service)

Saturday Morning Protest Warrior was on the corner at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base again for the second Take Back the Corner II (I missed last weekend). The group had grown to 10 people showing support for the troops AND their mission.
Dennis is the Southern Arizona Leader for Protest Warrior and did an outstanding job setting this up.

Scott from Speed of Thought has this weeks report up already.

Billy Budd from American Dinosaur has more pictures as well.

I was amazed by the people taking a second look to see if if we were for or against, when they figured out what we were doing the smiles and thumbs came out big time.

I figured out I need a new camera because I had a lot more pictures that just didn’t come out. the people coming by were really great as most had thumbs up and were honking their horns.

This is a great way to say thank you to the troops that are sacrificing for our benefit.
To all the troops in all the locations around the world. Thank you for your service.

Should you choose to accept this mission:

Last week was the first in a series of missions to take back the corner at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. This is a mission to show support for the troops and their missions.

Scott at Speed of Thought participated and has this situation report and some intelligence photos.

I will be there on Saturday, I was kind of concerned until I read this

I think many people were shocked to see us there. There was a small convoy of military vehicles that came onto the base. At first they seemed to not want to look, but when they did, we got many thank you’s (how the heck do you spell that?) and very loud horns. We thanked them. They are the ones doing the real work after all.

That is really cool.

So…

If you live in the Tucson area (Billy Budd, Macker, Coyote Blog, Desert Tusk, Cowboy Blob) and think like we do, meet us next Saturday at Craycroft and Gold Links. Park at the park located on Craycroft just north of Golf Links, on the west side of Craycroft. You can join the Protest Warriors (Southeastern Arizona chapter) and make it official or just show up. The more the better. We are not out to do anything other than show our support for the men and women of our military. Trust me, you have not experienced anything like how much they appreciate it.

If you live in Phoenix area and need a ride let me know. I will help to get you down there.
Come out and join us.

Update: action starts at 8:00 AM, Bring Flags, and other items to show your support of the troops and their mission.
